This is a great rolling pin, my standard one was sticking and not doing the job. A friend sent this to me and what a difference with cookie dough! I love it!

This is a must-purchase for bakers at any level. A regular rolling pin just doesn’t cut it when you’re trying to roll us pastry dough for that extra thin and flakey tart or pie crust.

it's a rolling pin, that seems to be made out of solid material. Minus 1 star since there is no lacquer and leaving it in a sink overnight might wreck it.

A bit lighter weight than expected, but not bad for the price. It's a nice size and easy to store. I think it will work fine for rolling dough and should hold up over time.
