Beautiful for use and display

Obsesed with these salt and pepper shakers! they are perfect for use and display!

I ordered these last November 2023. Not even a year old and the pepper mill quit working. They worked great until one didn't. Nice looking on the counter and the salt as the perfect grind.

Love these! So pretty and function well. Took off one star because they leave salt and pepper flakes all over the place. I wish they had a cap or something so they didn’t leave residue. Otherwise, perfect!

Minor visible defect/damage

Item arrived with small chip and visible defects. Lower quality than I expected for a C&B product.

Pull apart to fill

To open and fill these grinders, simply pull them apart. I’m reviewing because I came here for instructions that others provided. These are great grinders! Wish they came with instructions. I started disassembling from the bottom before I got the “this doesn’t feel right” vibe.

Love the look of the Hanno salt & pepper column mills. BUT, no instructions as to how to open & fill the mills! Please can you send these to me asap?

Took off a star for no instructions and not obvious disassembly. Here is how to take it apart. First, you do not need to unscrew anything. It doesn’t feel right but just grab both ends and pull. It’s slides apart at the seam.

Style and Function

As with other owners I came back to the website for directions on opening. Fortunately another reviewer provided the answer and from there it was simple. Very easy to fill after pulling apart and then reassemble They grind beautifully though there is no choice of fine v. coarse grind I a satisfied with the grind level. Very easy to use as the size fits well in hand. I have not had a "leak" issue. I loved them for the style and now for the function as well.

Nice set, if you want 2 pepper grinder and no salt

Christmas gift for my wife.as the title says: Hanno Fluted Salt & Pepper Mill Grinder Set. Salt AND pepper being the key. Was VERY disappointed to find two (2) pepper grinders and no salt grinder. Let's see if C & B makes good on it.

Salt and Pepper Grinder Set

They look great but there are no directions on how to open and fill them. We don’t want to break them and force something we shouldn’t. I thought I might find the directions in the description but no luck. I gave the product 3 stars because I can’t comment on the functionality. Please email me the directions as they appear to be missing. Thanks.

Cute but Leaky

Overall I really love these grinders - the look is so good and they’re easy to use, easily slides apart to add peppercorns/salt, but doesn’t just fall apart when you pick it up. My only problem is that they’re extremely leaky, I am constantly cleaning up salt/pepper from underneath them and it’s pretty annoying.

Work great and look really sharp. Grinding mechanism is smooth even though the wooden exterior has a more rough, handmade feel. Bigger than I expected - 7.25 inches tall. I would recommend getting the separate black pepper grinder and separate wooden salt grinder - easier to tell what's what, and the pair looks even better! (see photo). Also it's cheaper buying them separately rather than as a set, for some weird reason.
