Great and Functional Product

A great addition to my outdoor space. The material feels durable and provides excellent shade. The included hardware installation kit made setup quick and easy. Overall, a functional product that I would definitely recommend.

Ordered sail from Home Depot, Sunset Blvd, Lexington, SC. twice, both times without "hardware included." It took Sharina, Karen, Hailey, and Robin in Return/Customer Service to get the proper sail along with the hardware from California. We will see how long the sail lasts in South Carolina weather.

This sunshade sail is an excellent product. It will stand up to weather and not fray or rip. I have used this brand of sail before and was very durable. Several years without problems.

I put 6x6 in 10 gal metal bucket 4 of them filled with 150lb + quick Crete put lights on the 6x6 put shade sail so rain can run off 2 10ft 2 8ft post came out great I put the post in the buckets to move around the back yard instead of being stationary my preference can roll them or move hand truck

The Sunshade Sail could not look better! It also provides ample shade. Great product, great choice!

I got this shade material because the cost of vegetables made me want to grow my own. I live at 5800 elevation so the sun is intense. This hade material is woven tightly so that it protect by plants from being burnt. It's great that it comes with hardware to attach the shade cloth, especially the turnbuckles to get it snug. The quality / thickness of the material is such that this will last me many years. My wife is the green thumb and she can't get over how great it is.

Overall a good option for direct sun block. The material is a bit more lightweight than I expected, so it allows for some light to filter through. The material also lets some water through- it mainly pooled in the center and then dripped through -which for my use is a plus.

First time purchasing this type of shade. It is an excellent option considering the wind. Time will tell how well it holds up. I have already seen the prices going up as this is becoming more popular.

[Rewarded Review] Cheaply Made Sun Shade

The Colourtree Sun Shade measures 16 x 16 feet. It comes in Turquoise. The material is very thin and there is not reinforcement made into the seams. The material is just folded over and sewn. The turn buckles are very small and not very strong.It only came with three anchors and four are needed. They should also include four turnbuckles for easy adjustments. There was also only one quick buckle connector.

Everything good except the screws

The sun sail seems nice. I bought this one because it came with the installation hardware. I was really disappointed to find they supplied the cheapest screws possible that strip at the drop of a hat. I had to provide my own higher quality decking screws.

It is difficult to give this product less than 5 stars because it is similar to others I have ordered previously, but those came with the correct hardware (ie. square sail hardware for square/rectangular sails, and triangular sail hardware for triangular sails). This one did not. Twice I contacted HD, who in turn contacted the vendor, and once I reached out to the vendor directly. I have received no communications from the vendor. Why is this important? You cannot go into the store to buy this product; it is an online purchase through HD. So, if there is a problem you take the steps I have taken, or return it to the store. One more option is to find the hardware pieces needed to install a square sail, as I did. Shame, because it is a nice product…if you have the right parts. Once all was sorted it was easy to install. I chose to extend a couple of the corners using stainless 3/32” wire rope (aircraft cable) (OMSID 204630483), 3/32” ferrules (OMSID 205322432), and 1/8” wire rope thimbles (OMSID 203810742), which I found at my local HD. The whole thing worked out beautifully, and just in time for our blistering Arizona summer sun.

perfect sun shade installed in back yard from vinyl fence 6 feet to poles 8 feet tall give amble shade now i'll have to put down a patio for a barbeque and table to entertain our guests when they come to visit and have a bar-b-que which will make it bearable here in sunny Florida with the heat and sunny that we get now wife is giving me more honey do lists...once patio is in need landscaping ................lol

[Rewarded Review] Great for camping & the deck when I get home!

I got this for my camping trips & I have been testing this in my backyard to see how it performs in the elements. So far it is doing great. I have shade, privacy, & a wind/light rain block all in one & it is easy to set up/takedown, clean & pack. Using ropes/guides I can create angles & shapes to better block the the sun, wind & prying eyes. When I'm not camping I can set it up on the deck very easily. Easily recommended & 4 stars

I plan to use both triangle and square shades with different colors. I also need to have the ability to easily remove them when a strong storm is heading my way. The COLOURTREE 10 foot by 10 foot square sun sail is a sand or beige colors. The sail comes with an installation kit with high grade stainless steel for mounting the sail to my concrete block walls and aluminum pool cage. The installation kit comes with turn buckles between the wall mounts and the sun shade to tighten and make them quickly removable when needed. The shade is 190 GSM rating, which stands for grams per square meter. The higher the GSM weight the higher the shade rating and the tighter, stronger and heavier the fabric. These shade are very sturdy and have study stitches on the d-rings.
