Weather Resistant Box for storage of cushions

Recently purchased to store my deck furniture cushions. Overall, very solid construction. I like the base, only issue is once assembled there is a .5cm gap between the doors and the rest of the cabinet on both sides. I think it will still be waterproof due to overhang of the roof/top, however not sure during major storm events with sideways rain. This being said, I think it is good value and solid construction so would recommend purchasing.

We've had one of these sheds for several years--moved it to our new house--then bought a second one. The prop-up lid and two doors make it easy to put stuff in or take out. A level surface is needed to make sure the pieces fit snugly. There are gaps that may let rain in--we cover ours with tarps--silver side out to help with temperature control. Forget the assembly instructions for connecting the two pieces of the back; lay them on the ground--much easier.

Slightly thinner material

This is the second one we purchased. The first became stained and the top cracked over the years, (Mainly because I used to step on it). This one looks like the same unit, but the materials appear to be slightly thinner. Time will tell if it lasts as well as the first one.

Exactly what we were looking for

We purchased this shed to store our recycling bins and extra bags, its perfect. We have it right against the house for easy access. Easy to assemble, easy access and fits everything we intended to put in it. Great item!

First if you are just going to use it to hold trach cans it would work fine. I bought it because it was a Rubbermaid product and it looked sturdier thn it actually is. Assembly is very fast but having two people would make it quicker and easier to lock all the panels in place. I bought mine to house firewood and to keep it relatively dry. I started stacking the wood and as it gets toward the top, no matter how I stacked it, it wanted to push the sides out and there isn't enough rigidity to do that without creating another rack within the unit, which I did, and now it closes and seals as it should. I worried that having to add a rack inside would reduce the interior storage, but it actually allowed ne to stack the wood neater and more efficiently. I never got to see one on display or I may have opted for another option. I true Rubbermaid fashion it does look nice!

The Horizontal storage shed worked out fine. We did have a problem with the two back pieces. They just wouldn’t go together. We think they got bent in the box in transit but we didn’t quit , it finally hooked up and the rest of the sides went together easier. The doors and top work well. We replaced a Suncast bin with a broken hinge that just was too much trouble to open and close.

Replaced an old one just like this one. Hopefully the lid won’t warp like the old one plus it faded in color. Was a little bit difficult in getting it put together. It is a nice size for the deck to keep chairs, etc in it.

Great product!

Great product! Love the size, durable and easy assemble. Just lay out the pieces before assembly, and snap in place. No instructions, but easy enough to figure out. Very happy :)

Warped Pieces and Couldn’t Put Together

The instructions read 25 minutes to assemble, 2 people required. I’m not sure if our pieces are warped but they are definitely not fitting together after 1.5 hours of trying - we couldn’t get through the first assembly step! I would love to see a Rubbermaid person come out this unit together because the two main pieces do not fit together!

I own the prior built storage box Same model. The older one is built better. It is pinned together not just snapped together. Don’t get me wrong the new one is good but older one is all around built better.

Nice sturdy garden storage for power mower, garden cart, power trimmer, hedge trimmer, & bags of lawn food/ weed control bags. Assembly requires two persons. Caution you to read and follow instructions for proper assembly sequence. Requires a rubber mallet to secure panels to joint interlocks. Recommend this storage and may purchase another .

Piece of cake to put together. I scanned the assembly instructions for about 30 seconds to review the steps, then studied the pieces to see how they go together, and had the thing up in about 15 minutes. The pieces use a slide and lock method. Really it’s pretty easy. And it looks great.

I replaced the previous Rubbermaid Storage shed with the same exact one. Had the first one for almost 10 years. Fits 2 garbage cans with ease plus some other materials (boxes, cardboard, etc) for trash pick up. Very easy to put together - took me about 15 minutes, in a windy backyard to boot.

Better built than the Rubbermaid we bought over 15 years ago. Two were purchased to replace the old ones. The lid is one piece and more solid than it's predecessor. Each holds 2 large garbage cans for separating recycling.

A little tricky to snap together but once assembled it’s a secure unit. A 2.5 inch rainstorm over night and my push mower is drip dry. Also installed a shelf to hold my gas jugs. Freed up a bunch of space in my attached storeroom and no more gas fumes!!

While the quality overall is good, it’s a bit difficult to assemble, but shouldn’t be. Also be warned this comes in a massive box! The team at HD laughed when they saw me pull up in a tiny Honda Fit! However, if you remove the panels from the box they should fit in many hatchbacks

The product was exactly as advertised, and I already had a matching one from years ago. However, the box it came in was torn, and there were no instructions. Despite this, I was able to assemble and start using right away. Something you might want to look into!

It's not water proof &service at the store was TERRIBLE! First they couldn't fine the item i already purchased, when I looked for it, it was literally in the middle of isle. Waited in line for 2 hours just to be helped. Item itself is flimsy and barely water resistant. VERY VERY POOR EXPERIENCE.
