This is way overpriced. It’s more like a toy footstool. It’s takes a long time to put together and the wood is rough, not all pieces have been planned. A very disappointing purchase that I returned. Would not recommend it to anyone.

Cute but lots of work getting it together

Impossible to assemble without workbench with clamps to hold steady. Pieces of wood are all different colors and don’t appear to be cedar. Way over priced for the quality. Don’t waste your money.

Poor quality

This was very cheap and not what I expected. I would have returned if my husband didn't put it together and throw away the box. looks more like a school project than $70.00.

Too much work to send back. But equivalent to a middle school shop project. It literally is a stack of wood and some screws.

Very expensive for the price. Two colours and finishes of wood arrived, one smooth and one rough. It is sturdy.

Nioe goes with chairs and a lot easier to put together.

OK product, assembly features could be improved

I love to assemble products and unfortunately this footstool lacks quality assembly features. There are several holes drilled on some pieces, but no holes drilled on other pieces. When putting pieces together it isn't easy to get the bevelled pieces to line up true when only some of them have drilled holes and others do not. Set a screw into wood once and it is difficult to adjust it a small amount since it wants to go back into the same hole. As a result the stool is not perfectly true and has a minor wobble. Maybe not an issue for some but I would expect it to be perfect.

This should be listed as a stool kit instead of a stool. All you get are pieces of wood with drilled holes, some screws and a sheet of vague instructions. If you are already a woodworker, then you will understand all. Otherwise, good luck!

A knowledge of carpentry is essential to assemble this stool with the confusing directions included. It is ridiculous that this stool is not shipped assembled for the price charged - even on sale. It's going back.
