this barstool is shipped pre-assembled, but mine had so much damage it was visible before I unpacked it. Scratches and dings on each leg, one of the foot bars was also cracked. thankfully wayfair customer service was able to help me immediately and cheerfully. i will continue to shop at wayfair FIRST for the excellent customer service. thank you wayfair for hiring pleasant people.
