We got this for our newly adopted pet from Underdog Rescue - Casper!

Not for separation anxiety

Not a good choice for dogs who chew from separation anxiety. My dog had this ripped to shreds after one night. Heating pack smells like food too, so that could gave added to the aggressive chewing.

Very soothing

My puppy loves this. It was very comforting when I brought him home in the car and now stays in the crate with him.

Works great, puppy loves it. Less expensive than original snuggle puppy but just as good.

Crap product

Just received this last evening and I am very disappointed. The battery pack does not allow you to unscrew it so therefore you cannot put the batteries in. Contacted Pet Knows Best (manufacturer) and they were absolutely no help at ALL

My puppy snuggles and mouths it not chews

My puppy is only 11 weeks so was reluctant and she tried to chew so I took it away. I put it in a note and she snuggles up to it with the hot pack inside and the heartbeating. She lays her head on it.

Saved our sleep and sanity

We bought this for our 12 week old Maltese puppy who had extreme separation anxiety while in her crate at night. We bought this item in hopes it would help calm her down so everyone could sleep. The very first night, she chirped once and then slept all the way through! This thing has saved our sleep and sanity.

12 week old puppy loves this. Went right to sleep in his crate with him. No crying all night.

Missing parts

This toy is definitely a great idea. It did not have the heating element included, which was a disappointment. I don’t even know how to get one. I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone else since it doesn’t come with everything that it says it does.

Great if you don't use the heartbeat!

The heartbeat is so loud you can hear it in the next room.

Only the 1st day but definitely worth a try. 10 yr old female dog with high anxiety and this is the calmest I’ve seen her 2 years. Compulsive licker and experiencing lameness in back legs. On the road to diagnosis but for the last 3 hrs she’s been good. I’ll take it!

Comfort puppy pal! An absolute must for a puppy

We recently got a new puppy and he cried through out the night in his crate. I got this in hopes that it would comfort him at night. The first night I put this in with him he slept through the night for the first time since being with us. I set the heart beat for 8 hours and warm the heating pack for 45 seconds as directed and then put it in first and then my puppy. If your puppy is having a bit of anxiety for bedtime, this is a must have!

Works

Very cute. Thought it would not be so stiff, my puppy slept with it last night and didn’t chew on it or tear it up. I’m crate training at this time. He wakes up about 2:30 a m and doesn’t want to go back to sleep and just whines. I turned the heartbeat on and it helped.

I recently lost my beloved Bella. We had been together for over 14 years. I bought the Huggie Pup for me; to ease my grief. I have found comfort holding it and hearing and feeling its "heartbeat". When winter comes I will use the warming pad on cold nights. My Huggie Pup ("Humphrey") has brought great comfort to old, broken-hearted woman. If you are grieving over a lost pet, adopt a Huggie Pup.

The price was a little steep but I love the different setting for the length of the heartbeat
