Great rug

I bought a balta rug about 2 years ago for a secondary living/sitting room and it has held up great, so I decided to purchase this rug for my primary living room. The price was great and the rug looks great in the space. I prefer indoor/outdoor rugs because I have 3 dogs and the textured wool rug I originally purchased for this area was already showing some wear and tear after about a year (not the rug's fault but I needed something more durable). I didn't purchase a rug pad and the rug hasn't moved or slid at all.

My patio needed a new rug, so I decided to try this Hampton Bay indoor/outdoor rug. I have to say, the rug is very pretty and the colors are a perfect neutral - a soft combination of light taupe and cream. The weave has a nice design and there's a bit of a textured border at the side edges.

Sisal-looking indoor/outdoor area rug is nicer than I expected for a rug that works outside. This Hampton Bay woven area rug is described as cream and ivory woven rope. I think it looks like natural sisal. I got it for outdoor use for whenever the weather improves, but I may order a larger one and use it indoors as well. I’ve had it in our hallway for about 3 days so it can flatten out and it’s almost there. I’m smell sensitive and this one barely smelled when it arrived and that is now gone. The size is about 1/2” less than its described 5’x7’2.” Lastly, the edges are even and nicely bound.

I needed to replace the rug we have had on the wood floor of our upstairs outdoor deck. The Hampton Bay woven rug is just the ticket. The deck is covered but occasionally rain and snow will blow in from the northwest soaking or covering part of the rug area. This is an indoor/outdoor rug so not to worry about some moisture. The Hampton Bay woven rug is a tough durable rug that I’m sure will hold up well and give you several years of surface. I used mine on my outdoor area where it was exposed to the elements and really put it to the test. This cream color does well to hide dirt and debris. This carpet wicks up fluid and will become macerated with a heavy down pour and then is disgusting to walk on. I am storing mine inside now for winter to preserve.

I really like this indoor/outdoor woven rug. I don't know the exact weight, but is quite hefty and sturdy, and approximately ¼ inch thick. I'm using it indoors in my home office area. An office chair with wheels can roll on it with ease, and has not damaged it. The rug is made of sisal-type material, so it's not meant to be a 'cozy' rug. The weave appears quite tight. My cats sometimes use it as their scratching rug, but so far they have not been able to loosen any fibers. I haven't had any spills on it yet fortunately, however, you should be able to just scrub those out with a sturdy brush and carpet cleaner. The rug is otherwise easy to vacuum for just loose dirt.

This looks to be a hard-wearing outdoor rug that is just perfect for my new 6 X 8 foot deck. The rug is plastic and is thick. It being not Sisal or Jut it should hose off well without and scrubbing and it says it heat resistant and should not fade which is what will happen if this were fabric. After a several hrs the curl on the ends laid down. It gives protection from the Texas sunshine, dirt being trekked onto the deck boards and the boards getting blistered due to the furniture`s feet. Although Its not soft my dog seems to really like sitting on it but i wouldn`t recommend it for indoors unless it was for the laundry/mudroom. Its neutral which is what id wanted.
