Finally found placemats that work

Very stylish, nice and stylish and a conversation starter. Look beautiful on my round table and are very protective of hot items and they wipe off easily.

Well made. Color is as pictured. I purchased two sets and they seem to be sturdy. The weave is tight with no fraying at all. I purchased two black sets.

Water Hyacinth Woven Placemats

This placemats are gorgeous. I received many compliments from my guesses. You will love it. They will last you for ever. Excellent quality.

These mats are no joke. They are substantial placemats and are beautiful. They are neutral toned with white areas and will go with anything. Very impressed at the quality and the actual weight of each one. Definitely will buy more

Very nice but too large for my table.

I was looking for a set of placemats with a bit of a farmhouse or rustic feel and loved these when I saw them. I chose the black (although they could also pass for very dark brown which is what I was hoping for). They are very well crafted. In person, the flecks are more gold than tan but in my opinion, did not lessen their appeal. These are very large, very well made, and sturdy! In all honesty, it did not occur to me that there would be a vast difference in placemat sizes-my mistake completely. The measurements are listed in the description (14x19). Unfortunately, they were too large for my table (42 inch round) so they may have to be returned if I can't find another use for them. These were well packaged and arrived as scheduled.

Pretty but not for inside use

These are very pretty and look nice on my table. I do not like how solid they are. By solid I mean hard as a rock. I don't want my kitchen table scratched!

Love These Placemats!

My placemats made of woven water hyacinth are beautiful. I just wish I would have gotten the natural color instead of the black. They are still very pretty and rich looking and look great on my granite counter. Not only can you use them for a placemat but I use it in the middle of my table and put a nice vase with flowers on it. I just love them. Well made!

Gives rustic texture to the table.

This placemat is really made out of woven hyacinths so it makes it a little thicker than normal cloth placemats. It does give a rustic texture or feel to the table. I rinsed it when sauce was spilled on it, and it held up with no shrinkage or shriveling.

Very nice

I got these and am very happy with them they are very well constructed and very pretty. The main colors is black and brown with just slight bits of gold running through it. For placements they are on the heavy side so they don’t slide off the table like others do

Sturdy placemats

These are very sturdy and durable placemats. They are black with multiple gold paintbrush-like swipes over most of the placemat. The placemat is large enough to fit an entire 5 piece place setting. I will use daily in casual settings for my breakfast table.

Woven placemats

I absolutely love these placemats. They look amazing on my table and I've had so many compliments on them already. They aren't like any placemats I've seen before. I love them and would recommend them to anyone looking for awesome placemats.

Nice versatile table wear.

I really liked the sturdiness of these place mats and how easy they are to clean. Thick enough to protect my table while still giving a nice look to my table and dishes. I think the look of the Hyacinth weave is so versatile that these could be used indoors and outdoors which is a big Pro for me! The only thing I would say was a Con was the gold coloring brushed on took over more of the placemat coloring than the black did which made it look more of a shiny golden placemat. Other than that, these placemats are really nice quality.

So pretty!

My husband and I host little get togethers and needed some cute placemats to complete our look for our back patio. These placemats are so cute and perfect and functional! I love that they’re sturdy and and grass(straw) is surround by metal, making it more durable. The color matches our Esthetic really well! Super cute and recommended to add a little pop to your space!

Great Placemats

I am very happy with these placemats. They are sturdy, wipe down easily and look more exclusive than they are.

Pretty

These mats are thick and sturdy. Very attractive of black and gold. But a little rigid. Definitely not recommend for sitting your glass of drink on it due to the surface not being level. But overall looks very nice and seems like they will last me a long time.

Great quality

The placemats are very heavy and strong! Till I ordered the placemats there weren't alot of colors left to choose from......I'm not a big fan of the color black and gold. But other than that they are made really well!
