Does not hold a charge!

Not sure about this bar light. It is super bright when it is on full charge…..however the charge does not last for the period of time stated in the demonstration. I like that you can hang the device as well as stand it however if I find that it continues not to hold a decent charge then I will send it back.

How long does a full charge last

I have bought this bell Howell for my on suite as there are no windows just to save me putting on the light each time I use it, but up to now after just over a month I have charged it 4 times

Nice lights to brighten anywhere in the home.

I bought a few days ago. I was surprised as I took it out of the box. Tried it. Tested it. Yes. This thing is very bright. I had to cover my eyes. I've now put this in the garage. Seems that the last night in there had done it's time. Very good product.

Wow

I bought this because my built in wardrobe is so dark inside I can’t see what’s in there. Tried various battery strip lights but this is on another level. It lights up my whole living room for a start. Wasn’t expecting that. Just ordered another one as it would be brilliant for a power cut as long as I remember to keep it charged up.

BRILLIANT LIGHT BAR..

I PURCHASED TWO OF THESE BELL & HOWELL LIGHT BARS AND I'M SO VERY GLAD I DID, WE WERE SAT OUTSIDE LATE MONDAY EVENING AND I PUT THIS LIGHT ON AND MY GOODNESS IT LIT THE WHOLE OF OUR GARDEN UP. OVER THE YEARS I'VE BROUGHT LOTS OF DIFFERENT LIGHTS AND OKAY THEY'VE BEEN ALRIGHT BUT THIS BELL & HOWELL ONE IS AMAZING, I WAS GOING TO PUT THE OTHER ONE IN OUR GARAGE BUT I CAN'T NOW AS MY SON AS CLAIMED IT, WHAT I LIKE ABOUT IT AS WELL IS IT'S NOT GOT TO BE NEAR A SOCKET TO USE IT AND IT DOESN'T NEED BATTERIES, JUST A QUICK CHARGE AND YOU'RE READY TO GO. Great, but...

We used to have a home in a rural area where power loss was not infrequent. This was a game changer. You just can't imagine how bright this is on the highest setting. We had a great room open concept on the first floor and it was enough to light the entire space. The problem is that it died after 3 years. We had a whole house surge protector installed on our home, so I know it didn't die from an electrical surge. Not sure if there is an electronic protection plan available for this. If there is, I'd buy it.

not liked: The stands do not see secure seem flimsy. The slide for power is weird, hard to tell what position it is in. When drained, you have to wait for minum power to turn back on. Not sure of the time they will stay powered on. Pros: inexpensive, work well when grouped. Portable. Plan on using for emergency lighting. Would not use them as a light bar under cabinet.

Bell & Howell Light Bar, White

I returned the bar as it would keep charging all the time not knowing ever when it was full charge, bizarre. It lasted about 2 hres after charging for at least 2 days. Not worth my money!

Perfect light, for everything. The battery power is as said. I charge it every three months. I used it when I had a power outage and it was great!!

Great LED Light Bar

This light is perfect for my attic crawl space and works much better than smaller options. It illuminates the entire area without having to install a hardwired light fixture. I bought a second one for emergencies for inside my home or garage. Well done, Bell & Howell!

Refund Please

Regretfully I did not take it back within the refund timeframe because it's performance was disappointing from the start. It's power time nor brightness has be satisfactory or impressive. Now, after being on charger for days, 15- 20 minutes is the maximum time it holds a charge.

Exactly what we needed

This is not only very affordable, but provides very bright light. I easily attached this under my kitchen cabinet and can now see what I am doing and can read recipes and directions once again. Installation was very simple. I used 2 pieces of industrial velcro (not included). And a generous length. However, I can move it easily and the when I set it on it's kickstand, it lights the room. Great buy!

Portable and Rechargeable

I like that this light is portable and isn't tethered to a plug. I use it for extra lighting at my work bench and when complete, simply return it to the plug to recharge, as I do with all of my other rechargeable tools. It provides adequate lighting though I wish it could be more directional.

Nice light

The light works very well. It holds a charge for quite some time while not in use.

An absolutely perfect lighting fixture for any spot permanent or to carry around. Lasts along time and the brightness is like having a pocket full of sunshine. I have two now and I’ll probably find another location for a third.

Not impressed with several aspects of this product

For the most part I am satisfied with this product. It did everything as described on the package, which is good.. but it takes an extremely long time to charge them. Mine have been on the charger for 3 days straight before I can use them. Every time. Also the cords fall out of the charging port very easily you can't even pick it up or move it or even breathe on it very hard without the cords falling out so that's frustrating as well.

Bright light excellent for many uses

Perfect light for working under our modular home. We had no ceiling lights after hurricane Ian. This light lit up the area amazingly while I cut down the wet insulation

Promotional items

I had recieved 2 of these as promotional gifts from a company in new York and I do not like them. One charge and that was it. now while it worked, yes it put out some light,handy little kick stand or hang it from a hook or whatever. But once it does it's gone, even if the charger is plugged to it,nothing.so unless you just plan on using it for one night only then go ahead but not for long term use.

[Rewarded Review] Great for my attic space!

I have an attic that I use for storage and it has no lights. This makes lighting it up and finding stuff much easier. It's big and very bright. It has a couple settings which is nice. I do love that this is rechargeable, no batteries to worry about.
