Filter paper is very fragile, gentle placement into the frame separated the Glued areas. Portions of the filter were difficult to separate without damaging the glue.

Excellent product! And a very fair price! Looking forward to purchasing more when needed!

UPDATE: After discussing with DiscountFilters customer service, I received a full refund for this item.

What I ordered did not correspond with the filters I received. I ordered BestAirPro Replacement for Aprilaire® # 401 Filter, 2-Pack. What I received is shown in photo number one. The filters received did not have the edges with the punched holes to secure the filter to the filter box. The second photo shows the old filter shipping container from General Air with a filter edge removed from the old filter to show the edge with the punch holes. The final photo show the filter box exterior with the model of the filter box. I'd like to have the correct filters shipped to me.

It is a great price and good value for your money. The filters are good and much cheaper than other places. The shipping was fast and reasonable price. The only complaint I had was the packaging. It was poor and the box was crushed when it got here. Thank goodness the filters weere Okay.

Quality and price were good. The wire supports that came with the filter weren't long enough to span the entire vertical space. I fabricated a piece of styrofoam as a filler and hope that does the trick. The original filter had attached guides that slid in on factory slots to provide a snug fit.

My review is more on Discount Filters rather than the filter. I have been using Discounts Filters for years for A/C and refrigerator filters and really appreciate the assistance your staff provides. I will continue Discount Filters and recommend them to others.

Wanted Aprilaire 2400 filter. This one arrived. Took me awhile to install. Was expecting a filter in a form to slide into furnace not just the filter requiring me to put into frame and install.

Great filters and your pricing is fair. I was not impressed with the new packaging compared to the prior packaging you have sent. A few of them came somewhat bent and hopefully will still function ok once opened up in the filter housing.

Efficient and Effective

These furnace filters install quickly and easily. They rid my home of pet hair and dander, and filter out dust and debris. I m amazed at the amount of debris captured when changing out the filter and appreciate the fresh, clean air provided with each filter change.

I have purchased this product before with much happier results. This product came with less wrapping (2 filters in one box) they used to come each filter in a box inside of a larger box. They had strings. The filter paper fabric used to be heavier. These filters are glued with the explanation eliminating strings would make insertion simpler and easier; however, I found the fabric easily torn while trying to avoid ungluing it. I found myself wishing for the strings.

Good deal but they don't package filters individually.

I have used these filters over the years with no problems. I ordered the 2 Pack and was surprised they were not in the original packaging. They place 2 opened filters in a standard box. Not a big deal but kind of odd. I would have preferred them individually.

I needed AprilAire filters for a house I just bought. Didn't realize you can't buy them from the big box stores, so I looked online. They cost twice as much from the manufacturer as these generic ones do, and I order six of them and saved even more. I highly recommend.
