Office Desk

Delivery was as scheduled and no issues. Quality of the product is good (great for price point). Assembly instructions were for most part very good, there was only two step's that one had to be deciphered after staring at the picture, no actual instruction on how to do those two steps.

This is a great sturdy desk. Size is great, functional. It was very difficult to assemble and took lots of time. the Quality matches the price

Awesome desk!

I absolutely love my new desk and filing cabinet. It’s perfect for my home office. It definitely takes 2 people to put it together and approximately 6hours, but it was worth the effort. I couldn’t be happier.

Never buying bestar again

Terrible instructions, pieces do not hold together. I have already broken one piece to to weight and unstability of the product. I do not recommend this product. The drawer handles on the drawers are grey and the lateral file cabinet came with black handles. They did not even pay attention to the colour combination that was ordered.

Looks nice but poor quality!! Disappointed...

I was really hoping to be satisfied with this purchase because the colors and layout of this is nice. But.... its not real wood, its particle board so the screws spin out when screwing your drawer rails etc. therefore the screws dont actually hold well. In fact some have already fallen off. The instructions are not great either. Sounds like they were translated from chinese to english and some of the drawings were confusing. All in all i have to say the quality is junk for the price we are paying. It would have cost less to have a woodworker make me one from scatch. It would have been made with real wood and would actually hold together. I was so afraid the desk would collapse in the future that i went to home depot and bought some L brackets to reinforce some parts of the desk. I cannot wholeheartedly recommend this to anyone unfortunately. Especially if your not a handyman, it will be a real pain for the average person to assemble. sorry but it gets only 1 star because i like the colors, thats IT.

Solid Investment

This is a great unit period. I have been happy with my purchase for the past four years. No complaints whatsoever. Solid and stylish, holds my 55" tv, 34" computer screen, two laptops, a 17"x22" photo printer, a 13"x19" printer, a book shelf and a couple LED desk lamps. I added a keyboard tray and 4: deep steel drawer assembly under the desk. Performs very well.

Decent value for home office

Decent quality for home office use. Laminate is durable work surface, edging is suitable for moderate home use. This is approaching the quality of commercial office furniture , but its not up to commercial use. Assmebly is fairly easy for someone with a little mechanical ability. I would say it is a wonderful neutral shade of beige greys and it plays well in any pallet. Generally speaking its a good value for a home office. I like that there's a whole system to build other spaces in the same room.

Updated Review - Great product

The quality of this product is fantastic. It is heavy duty and I plan to have it for a very long time. My only issue is that I was missing two important pieces of moldings that leave it looking unfinished. I tried contacting Bestar, they responded that they got my email but never followed through and I never heard from them again. I contacted OverStock and their process makes it easy to request missing parts however, once I made the request I have not received any correspondence letting me know they are going to take action. It has been two weeks since my communication to Bestar and one week since I contacted OverStock. Update: Overstock did send the missing pieces and I now have a complete setup.

Very nice and spacious!

Extremely Flimsy, especially for the price.

I researched desks for quite a while before deciding on this one and was so excited when it finally arrived. There are no reviews for the desk on this site but it is sold by other companies. The reviews on those sites were overwhelmingly positive, so I thought I was buying a good quality desk that will last for several years. Online and in person, I was happy with the size, look, and price; however, I am giving it only one star because despite all those positives this is quite possibly the flimsiest desk I have ever owned. The directions even suggest that you put it together in the spot you plan to ultimately use it because it isn't a good idea to move it around after it's put together. If you have to move it, it recommends lifting the entire desk at one time which is not possible even with two people due to it's weight and L shape. It is also not possible to completely assemble this desk in it's final spot due to the size of the desktops and other pieces. You will end up moving it in order to get it where you want it to be and this is where the problems begin. I put the desk on furniture sliders, with a slider under each "foot" - you can't see them in the pic but it has 2 small adjustable feet per side so you can make the desk level. I used a total of 8 large sliders. I had to turn it 180 degrees to position it where I wanted and it slid easily over the carpet wtihout any issue during this process. I thought I was home free BUT when I tried to slide the desk just a few feet more to line it up with the wall, the return completely fell apart without any warning like a house of cards. I had just spent an incredible amount of time and effort on carefully assembling this desk and was simply stunned when it just collapsed. I managed to get it put back together (after walking away from several hours) but added several L brackets to make the legs sturdier. It's a great desk and works well for my needs now that I have it stabilized but I would not recommend this desk to anyone. I would certainly not buy it again and wish I had not bought it in the first place but will make due with it at this point. I am specifically writing this review here since there is not yet a review for this product as I'd like to save someone else the frustration that comes with this desk. I recommend you keep searching for something better to invest you money in.

I love my desk. I hired a handyman to put it together it took him a long time there was so many pieces. But it is so roomy and perfect for my home office. I took part of it and used as my computer table and it is still large enough.

This is a very sturdy and large desk. It is exactly what we were looking for-no missing pieces or damaged ones. A fairly handy person could assemble this with one other person in 4-5 hours or less.
