Desk is fine but delivery was terrible.

I like the desk, but it is just a desk. Next time I order from somewhere else so I do not have to deal with the horrible delivery. I was told the delivery would arrive on a Saturday between 10-5pm, so I stayed home. I waited through the whole 7 hour delivery window and nobody came. I waited an extra hour just in case. Nothing. I tried calling the delivery people but their office was closed on Saturday so I couldn’t reach anyone. On Monday, they informed me the delivery driver’s phone died so he could not contact me / find my place. Really? That’s literally your only job! So they rescheduled. This time I opted for a weekday so I could reach their office in case nobody showed. I took a day off work and was given a time window of 10-5pm. Nobody showed again. I tried calling the office at 5 pm and of course it was closed then. I decided to wait another hour. Finally they showed up just as I was about to leave. I could have just gone to work and been home in time for the late delivery! No apologies, nothing. Again, the desk is fine. It had missing parts and I had to call to get them shipped to me so I had to wait another few days. (Thankfully those were just sent by FedEx!!). Assembly is complicated / time consuming which was fine for me but if you’re not too handy, consider asking for assembly services.

Très facile à assembler et très solide. Pour le prix je recommande grandement. Il manquait 2 paires de coulisses dans la boîte et le service à la clientèle nous les a fait parvenir en 2 jours. Merci Bestar.

If I could conjure up the perfect Desk to add to my room, it would have the great looks and function found in the Embassy. Couldn't be happier with my Desk purchase!

So pleased to have found the Embassy Desk, and at such a good price! This is a quality piece no skimping on materials or finish. Much nicer than competitive products I saw at other stores, whether online or old fashioned brick and mortar. Good deal!
