Nice!
Very well made, price just right, love the color black that goes well in my kitchen. I recommend this product.
Dish space saver.
Nice product. Helps me have more space around my sink. It has enough space on it for my dishes and cups and utensils. It is perfect for my needs.
Good Dish Rack
Nice evolution of dish racks. I like how the drip tray is elevated. Assembly was tricky. If the outside cap nuts are screwed on too far the cap will pop off. Therefore, adjust the inside expansion nuts first, then the capped. What's also good is the plastic leg feet covers are hard and will last a long time. For the cabinet hanging low, I just put small plates in the back. The cup rack in back needs a paper towel on the counter.
Great space saving design! Poor choice in metal used in buil
This item would b great in saving space in ir kitchen, but the poor quality of metal chosen 4 build makes it rust encouraging/ promoting. My item was rusty the day i recieved it. Over time rust will destroy counters, dishes, sanitation, etc etc
Aesthetically pleasing, but flimsy
Had to assemble which was no issue. But every single one of the nuts, the head of the cap popped off. Each screw had to be adjusted accordingly because of this in order to keep it from being flimsy and rocking back and forth.
Buyer's Remorse
The ONLY reason I gave this a low review is because I found the exact same thing at a DD'S Discount Store for a MUCH lower price than on here. So I had a bit of buyer's remorse, but other than that it works relatively well for what I wanted. The area under the cups will need a drying mat of some sort as there's no plastic to catch the water.
I would recommend.
Great quality and sturdy. Easy assembly. Perfect size. Looks great on my counter, definitely better than the typical. Very pleased with this purchase and would recommend to others.
Rusting on a one day used dish rack
HORRIBLE QUALITY!!!! One day old dish rack already rusting!!! Barely used. Dishes laid in the rack to dry overnight and this is what happened. I would give this substandard quality item no stars if I could. ***
JUST SAY NO!
I fell in love with this at first site. Couldn’t wait to get it. Boy am I sorry. In theory this is a great idea but in reality it sucks. To be able to use the top for plates you have to position it on your countertop so close to to edge it’s crazy. Who doesn’t have wall cabinets to left and right of their sink so it’s not like my kitchen is an odd configuration. I guess if I only use to[ for bowls or saucers but that kind of defeats the purpose of having the darn thing. Oh well guess it will collect dust in the garage.
DO NOT BUY!
If i could give this product negative stars, i would! It is an absolute waste of money! Its completely lopsided, the little wrench it comes with is so cheap and flimsy i was only able to tighten one nut before it got bent out of shape and was unable to tighten the rest. Im so disappointed!
The dimensions are incorrect.
The specs list the dimensions as:
Stands flat
The tray has an edge all the way around and this sits flat. I ended up removing the tray and letting it sit on the slanted tray from my old dish drainer. It does sit high enough that you can clean under it while it is loaded with dishes. Also, I used a wrench to tighten the nuts, and broke the caps off of each one getting it right enough not to wiggle. It looks great and I think I can get more dishes on this rack.
Expected sturdier quality from HD
We really expected this unit to be on the sturdier side of dish racks. Not so. Rack screw caps popped off on several screws just getting unit tightened together. Even tightened, the unit doesn't feel "tight." We were surprised the Home Depot would carry such a questionable item.
Great space saver
I have a small kitchen with little counter space. This was perfect for what I needed and a great space saver. I had one similar to this before but it was bigger and eventually started to come apart. This is sturdy and so far durable.
Stainless Steel should not RUST !
I bought this type dish drainer to fit my 'small space' ; that option did work perfectly. Unfortunately - it has rusted and I have not recourse but to trash it now. I don't know how else to reach the manufacturer for a refund.
Works great but Has one short leg
Item that I received has one of the leg bit short. I fixed it with a small pad below the leg and then it is Very sturdy. I put my pots plates cups everything and it is great. Servers the purpose. And I don’t see a point why I can’t use it or recommend it to my frnds. Taller than what I expected. It basically is visible from other side of the bar style island! but then it looks decent so I don’t mind.
Convenient and Attractive
I'm very pleased with this. I recently moved to a new home that does not have adequate kitchen cupboard space, and the ones it does have are too high for me to reach without a step stool. I got this for the counter to store dishes after they are dried. It's fine for the plates on top and bowls on the bottom. I'm sure it would be perfectly fine to air dry dishes after they were washed, but I use a different rack for that.
Great Price
I purchased 2 (due to the small size and needing more room) but didn't add the top rack on the 2nd so that I could add large pots and pans.
2 level dish rack that works well.
No more stacking the dishes and hoping they don’t crash anymore. I love putting away “dry” dishes!! The rack is sturdy and the only worry for me so far is my heavy tea glasses hanging off the side. I just make sure not to overload it and so far so good!
Poor design
Top rack is unstable when plates are stacked. Plated Chrome frame tubing is lightweight and flimsy. Poor height clearance for plates when placed on a countertop, kitchen cabinets will not allow plates to fit since this rack since it is tall and the plate rack is on the top. Looks nice but wish I had purchased a conventional Rubbermaid dish rack.
