The chairs are very comfortable. The back of the chair is a perfect height for good posture. I dont know what I will clean the chair with if it gets food spilled. Time will tell how well it will resist staining. Overall we are very satisfied with our purchase.

Going to AFW is a trip that can be described as top notch excellence. From the moment you enter the door, one can see furniture that is organized in well-lit pleasing display. The sales staff is always available but not pushy. F you need help it is easy to find a staff member who stays by your side all the way to the end of your purchase. Your paperwork is complete and explained in full by your sales member. I will always go to AFW when looking for any furniture.

The chairs -- which stated dark mahogany wood/BLACK faux leather on the description onsite -- are just brown painted wood/BROWN plastic. Very poor picture quality on their site, so couldn't tell the description was wrong. Very, very cheap looking. Not at all suitable for a dining room. Very little contact information, but I'm trying to find out how to return them. Don't get any of their plastic upholstery.

AWESOME chair!

I purchased these chairs to go around a restoration hardware table that I had purchased. The chairs to accompany the table were SO expensive, and I was shard pressed to find anything affordable yet quality anywhere else. On a whim (and without having seen the chairs) we purchased 6 of them, and they look fantastic around our dark brown restoration table. NOTE: don't be alarmed when you first get them if the cushion is "stiff", they soften up quite quickly.

We originally purchased another table and chairs from another store for a bit cheaper. After going here to look at something else, we decided to just take a look at the table sets. Without hesitation, after seeing this set, we bought it right away and are taking back the other one we bought. We didn’t even open the box on the other one yet. This table and chairs felt very sturdy and had a nice finish and color way to it. This hasn’t been the only piece of furniture we bought from here, we have literally filled our entire house from this store. We move from out of state and didn’t bring any furniture with us. The customer service and prices have been outstanding.
