Its been more than a year and I have been using this grinder everyday for coffee beans and it works perfectly fine. Love the quality for the price!!

Pretty and functional

Very quick and handy. The colour matches the kitchen so it looks attractive as well. Sturdy construction.

Don't waste your money

Frequently stops working. I’ve owned less than a year and it just stopped working today. Not eligible for return/ no warranty. Previous reviews on product are misleading. Spend a little more, purchase a better product.

Compact, fast, efficient and stylish too!

Really pleased I chose this smart compact grinder. It's lightweight and small enough to hold in one hand while loading the ground coffee beans into the pot. The winder underneath conceals most of the flex when not in use so it takes up even less space. I have recurring wrist problems and bought it because I could no longer use my old manual French coffee mill. I just wish I had bought it sooner as it grinds the beans in seconds. Also the ground beans seem to taste better and fresher and you can easily control the texture so they are as fine or coarse as you want them. I would recommend it 100%.

Colour?

It’s not actually white more a beige colour but I can live with that. Seems to grind all right in a messy way with grounds coming out of the machine. It works fine.

Very disappointing

For the price, I expected much more capacity, power and usefulness. This grinder can only be used for 60 seconds then rest to avoid overheating and is not capable of grinding spices or anything other than a few coffee beans.

The only thing it'll grind is your gears.

POOR DESIGN: deep narrow cup doesn't allow beans to move as they're ground. POOR COMPONENTS: high rpm low torque motor is so fast beans just sit above the blade. POOR QUALITY: It broke after about a week of intermittent use due to the poor connections between the lid and unit itself.

Fantastic

I was super impressed with the bistro Coffee blade grinder. The grinder ground my coffee beans better than my previous grinder. Fantastic

A hazard

Would not recommend this. After a few months of use, it wouldn’t grind my beans. It wouldn’t grind if there isn’t enough beans but would overfill and spill over if there’s too much. The button to start it would also get clogged from the beans and wouldn’t stop grinding

Stylish and efficient

We've used this a number of times for grinding and mixing spices. It's quick and easy, ergonomically designed, and it's stylish. The ability to shorten or lengthen the cord is great.

Broke in less than 6 months

I have used this for maybe 6 months every morning. It was never great but it worked ok. Then one morning recently it just stopped grinding mid-grind. I notice a coffee bean wedged under the blade and thought maybe it caused the motor to overheat. But the thing should be designed to chop up coffee beans? I let it sit to cool down but it still won't work. Spend a few more dollars for something that will last. IMO.

Pick the other one

This item is crap. It’s cheap and never worked consistently. It just completely broke. Not worth it

Looks good. Bought as a gift.

Looks good - bought as a gift for a coffee lover. Hoping they will like it but looks exactly like the picture on the box.

Bought this grinder 5yrs ago. Used that much it packed in over Chrissy. So happy with the ground it provides. Recommend, definitely 5 stars.

Good & inexpensive coffee grinder

Bought this a couple months ago. Reasonably quick, quiet, with uniform results. Only issue has been that it won't work if you put the top into position off center, but that is no problem once you see how it works. Item looks nice for a cheap product.

1 star for ability to grind beans, -3 for the longevity

I'm no expert, but i do know if you want "properly" ground coffee, you ought to be using a burr grinder. That said, I purchased this before knowing the difference, and it HAD worked just fine for my needs, at least for a while... Fast forward to now and you'll know that the "soft touch" plastic finish on the base has degraded and become sitcky - which is disgusting to experience. It seems manufacturers know this will happen and it is yet another form of planned obsolescence. I've had this happen to many items, including nearly all of my OXO products. At least with those it can be fixed by washing in soap and water. Electronic stuff, not so much. These days, I avoid buying anything with a soft touch finish. Been burned far too many times to care if a piano black finish gets smudged or feels a little less secure in my hand. At least I know it won't degrade after a while into a tacky and gross feeling mess. As a strong believer in buying tools built to last a lifetime, or longer, garbage like this causes me to look to other brands. It's also very unhelpful to our environment as most would not accept this as a hand me down and it will more than likely find its way into the landfill. Dissapointing that greed so constantly takes a front seat to environmental concerns.
