Its beautiful, with a nice, sturdy weight. Noticed right away that it works well to chop up raw, ground neat, but doesnt work so well after the neat is browned. Havent tried it for mashed potatoes yet, but I imagine it will work just fine.

Saw this at my daughter in laws, ordered one for my self. Can't believe how much easier it makes cooking ground meats. Sturdy, well made, easy to clean and works on non-stick pans. Probably works well with vegetables...haven't tried it yet.

This is a great gadget for breaking down ground round, sausage and all meats. It is very easy to use and the meat can get real fine if you like it like that, which I do. I think everyone should have this type of kitchen gadget.
