[Rewarded Review] Good, IF it matches your needs

I've had a couple of different string lights before and these were unique... I like the style of them – they look nicer in daylight than most alternatives, and they did a good job positioning the LED deep within the piece so that you get nice lighting without having to stare at a bright bulb. My critiques have to do with the functionality of the string itself though... You cannot daisy chain this to additional strands, and there is nothing on the end to hook it to. So, if you have clips and an area that fits the length perfectly, they will work well... If you want string lights with a little more flexibility, this might not ideal.

[Rewarded Review] Bright light that shines straight down - would work best up the stairway

Overall this is a nice set. The little lanterns worked well on back porch canopy because they are really lightweight and were able to be held up by the velcro straps on the canopy rather than having to put up with clips. I do note that the light coming from each lantern points straight down rather than broadcasting the light more broadly. For that reason, I think it would showcase best if it was strung up the outdoor steps so the lanterns would shine the light down each step.

[Rewarded Review] Stylish String Lights

These outdoor string lights are great! I love the black outer finish, as well as the pop of matte brass on the inside shade. It makes them fun, without being too gaudy. I was concerned with the weight of these as I have had string lights before that were heavier than they looked, but these are surprisingly lightweight! The functionality of having these be LED bulbs that I will not have to replace will be wonderful, but they do put out a bit more light than I was anticipating. Other than not being able to connect additional sets together, I would definitely recommend these string lights!

[Rewarded Review] Functional and pretty

Perfect for my little front patio. Its a display patio but I still wanted to add some light there. These are great. They are much larger than thought but that is ok by me. I actually like that the shade is large it helps keep the light focused but also helps so that you are not looking at a bright bulb. So many of the outdoor string lights are an exposed bulb and its too bright. These are not. I do wish there was a bit more cord even if just the plug portion.

[Rewarded Review] Lovely string lights provide warm light.

These string lights are endowed with a lovely black shade that will work with most architectural styles, as well as a practical led light source. The light source is warm and not overwhelming like most string light sets. The string lights don’t connect to other sets, so I have placed it in a small seating area to give it some warm light for additional functionality and interest. One set was all that was needed. The lights took about 20 minutes to install, including the time to place a couple of hooks into the ceiling.

[Rewarded Review] Great lights but wish they could be linked together.

Item is almost perfect. Love the fact that it does not have light bulbs to replace, love how they are not overly bright, more of a subtle light instead of that blinding unnatural light you sometimes get from outdoor lights. Feels as though they would hold up for more than one season especially since they don't have bulbs that'll break when the Santa Ana winds come blowing. Also like the style of the shades on these lights.

[Rewarded Review] Hampton Bay outdoor light set

This outdoor string of lights is made by Hampton Bay, which is a brand that I'm very familiar with. All of the lights on the outside of my house, many on the inside as well as at least one ceiling fan are from Hampton Bay and I haven't been disappointed yet. I like that this outdoor light set is LED and should last many years as well as help save on energy costs. Installation was simple as I approached it the same way as I would a string of Christmas lights. I strung them along a gutter over my patio using Christmas light hooks that just clip onto the gutter, clips not included. I plugged the lights into an extension cord and ran that down a downspout to connect it to an outdoor light timer set to stay on for six hours after sunset. I can either adjust the amount of time they stay on that way or simply turn them on or off via the dial on the timer. I love the way the lights look on or off and they give off a nice amount of light. Not too bright or dim, just right for their intended purpose. If I was going to nitpick, I would simply say that it would be nice if you could connect more than one string together like a Christmas light set, but one set works out perfectly for my application.
