Big Dent in Side

The price was reasonable but as others have discussed it had a big dent in the side and I was unable to open the top drawer. I'm returning it for a full refund. The manufacturer needs to realize that metal easily dents and secure the file cabinet with better packaging to avoid the cabinet being dented.

I needed a new file cabinet and was hoping I could go to Homedepot (the closest store for them to me) so I could actually see them in-person but they were an online items only so I ordered it online, it came sooner than expected which was nice. After opening it when I got home, it was a little dented on the sides and in back but not enough to warrant sending it back. It is just the right size and holds all my files and I like that it locks. I would've given a perfect score if it weren't for the dents.

Poor quality

I went with these due to most reviews being positive. I purchased 2. One arrived full of dents and the top surface is higher on the right side and slants down to the left. Think: “Leaning Tower of Pisa.” The drawers do not align on either unit and takes a good amount of effort to get them to close. The bottom drawer to the second unit does not seem to be attached properly and falls and hits the floor when I open it. The more I looked over the units, the more I realized there were loose parts inside. I didn’t expect to pay this price to have to repair them when they arrived. Will definitely be returning these.

Finding a small filing cabinet where the drawers pull completely is very hard. Most only pull out about 2/3 of the way which makes it hard to access documents in the back. Lorell 15 in. x 25 in. x 28.4 in. 2-Drawer Light Gray Vertical file was exactly what I searched weeks for. It is very stable with the one drawer pulled completely out. No tipping It appears to be well made with smooth ball bearing construction. Price was in line with the cheaper ones from other stores. I've had it a couple months now and would definitely buy again.

Right size, right color, and delivered right away! I put together a makeshift desk using “left overs” from a bathroom remodel. The file cabinet is the exact same height as the bathroom 3-drawer cabinet. When I added a remnant countertop I have a completely level desk! Affordable and customized to my needs! Best part was the time from concept to being done! Looks great! Plus being magnetic, I can post important notes which can be moved/removed in a flash!

They were delivered to my door (second floor apt) in sturdy boxes, and quickly. No set up needed! Keys for locks tied inside drawers. I like the button to push to open the drawers; keeps them closed when not in use. Very strong, sleek, and ready for the job of holding all my papers!

This is a great buy, most of the one's I looked at had very bad reviews from other places because they were so flimsy and their biggest complaint was that the drawers would get stuck but I think is the commercial grade steel that makes the difference. I like the drawers easy to open and easy to slide out. It came well package, with a thick box, no scratches or bents got the black color and looks good well pleased with my purchase. I would recommend.

It's not a bad file cabinet. Nice and lightweight. The only issue I see is that the drawers do not have flat bottoms. So if you plan to use it for anything other than hanging files kis not great.

Drawers do not fully open.

Appearance was like the picture; it was packed well and arrived without issues. Although the drawers are 22” deep, they only open to 18” which negates visibility of the last 4” of storage. It would be nice to see file labels for the entire depth of drawers. I am using the entire depth, but will have to remove some of the front files to see labels in the back.

I am very pleased with this product. It is much larger than my last file cabinet. It is strong and sturdy. I am pleased with my purchase and would recommend it. It arrived on time and there were no issues. I love it!

Please think twice before you buy this product.

Totally, I purchased 12 drawers from this band. But when it arrived I found there are 6 drawers are either supper damage or with lots dent on the sides. I believed is not 100% cause during the delivery because I got no problem with the same product of a different band. I already resolved the issue with customer service. However, I feel I need to have this review for who ever thinking to buy this product. I know we pay less for this brand but you really need to think about it before you purchase. It will cause you more time to complete your office.

Smooth and easy to use

I purchase this file cabinet from office supply, because they had the best price. The file cabinet is a commercial grade and drawers open smoothly. This is exactly what I needed for my files at home. Most personal file cabinets are not commercial grade and they've been very easily. The material that this file cabinet is made of is nice and strong and as I said earlier the drawers open very smoothly. Very happy with my purchase.

flimsy construction

The assembly is easy: all you need to do is attach the handles to the drawers with two screws each. The drawers do not open all of the way (which is an issue I had seen noted elsewhere). There is a good 8 inches of storage in each drawer that I cannot access with files because the drawers cannot be pulled out. The cabinet is very lightweight and flimsy. I dented the side pulling it out of the shipping box, and I was not pulling very hard because this cabinet is not heavy. I'm not sure what good a lock is when a child could pick this thing up and walk off with it. I would return the cabinet if I had bought it for myself, but a co-worker bought it for me.

Purchased this file cabinet to replace an older cheap cabinet for my home office. The price was nearly half the cost of similar cabinets at the local office supply stores. Standard shipping was next day delivery. The quality is exactly what I was looking for - commercial grade, with steel construction and easy slide drawers and the locking mechanism works great! The light gray option was a nice change from the usual tan options. This cabinet truly feels like it will last for years and was above and beyond what I expected.
