Great file cabinet

This file cabinet exceeded my expectations. We opted for delivery, and it arrived quickly and without a scratch. Except for attaching the casters, there is no assembly. The drawers glide open and shut smoothly and have a nice heft. They extend fully so that you can easily access the files at the very back of each drawer. The lock functions smoothly to secure both drawers. I am extremely pleased with this purchase.

Arrived quick and no shipping damage. Great file cabinet. It opens the full length of the draw so it's easy to access files and to load. Draws slide smoothly and easy to lock. Lots of storage space. I would purchase again.

Perfect file cabinet

Excellent, strong, large capacity, and good looking file cabinet. We fit the contents of our previous (4 drawer metal file cabinet) in just 80% of one drawer of this new cabinet and the depth aligns with the desk (depth). It’s like this cabinet was designed to be the best. Definitely worth the price. Best cabinet ever and that’s over 30 years. The drawers lock two ways; a catch button on left side of handle; and key/secure lock at top right hand side.

Staples 4-drawer Vertical File cabinet

Ordered the Staples 4-drawer vertical cabinet in Grey online. Cabinet was "hand" delivered to my home. The cabinet arrived in perfect condition (boxed), Not a scratch or ding to be found, once unboxed! Everything that was supposed to be included was in the cabinet (i.e. keys, drawer separators ,etc.) Best part....the only assembly required was removing the film from the drawer labels. I did not have to do a thing. Loved it!! Thanks Staples for a great experience.

Simple, Elegant Cabinet

It was a lot harder than I expected to find a 3-drawer file cabinet for my small office. I've had this unit for over six months, and it's just what I need. Good build quality, drawers slide easily and the cabinet rolls well on a carpeted floor. I like that his has two drawers for stuff and 1 filing drawer - which I use with letter-size hanging folders without extra hardware. I did buy an additional drawer inserts for pens, etc. The only downside is that it shows fingerprints - but that's minor. It has a nice smooth finish.

Great, no-fuss file cabinet

File cabinet looks good (gray), is sturdy (first one bought about 7 yrs. ago, and no problems; just purchased a second one this month), fits plenty of home related files, and works very nicely in a cramped apartment. Drawers open/close smoothly, keys/lock fit and work nicely, files (not included) hang perfectly. I thought the price was high ($200, including sales tax, but free shipping). Delivery was on schedule and courteous, and the cabinet (and packaging, for what it's worth) was in excellent condition. I highly recommend this cabinet for light-to-moderate home filing needs; as needs grow, one can easily get another. This is also a four-drawer version, so it is easy to mover around (when empty) and easy to store/use/reach the top of the cabinet. At a lower price, I would have bought two this time.

No assemble required!

We love this compact file cabinet. The construction and materials are top-notch, the lock (and 2 keys) works well and unlike my last 2-drawer filing cabinet, the lock works on BOTH drawers, not just the top one. The file cabinet arrived completely assembled, just take it out of the box and remove all the protective wrappings. The handles are flush with the cabinet and for what it is worth, the pull is at the TOP of each drawer, so we don't have to bend down to the floor to open the bottom drawer. This may not matter to many, but I recently had a back injury and handle placement matters. Unlike the cheap models, the drawers open fully allowing easy access to rear files with no tipping of cabinet. Another important factor another reviewer commented on is that there is more room above the hanging files so that the tops of the files and table do not rub, causing them to crush. I have one cabinet in my closet another next to my desk. I did not care about it having wheels, but have already wheeled it out twice in the first week to work on files - it glides effortlessly - wheels are large and nicely recessed under the cabinet, great quality. My husband was thrilled to see the quality of this and wished we had spent a bit more money on it in the first place. Our old, less expensive 2-drawer cabinet is out at the curb now waiting for a new home. . . . here comes someone now, loading it into his truck - well, he got it for the right price - free!
