Perfect size to hold hide under my kitchen cabinets

Just what I need for my custom under cabinet lights. I've been looking for the perfect 24v power supply that fits the power and size for my location and this one is perfect. I really like that you can cut open up where the power cord goes and cut it if needed or install a longer cord if needed for your project. The 24v out power connections are under a cover to protect it also. You will need a set of small screws drivers to set the screws. After hooking up all the wires they work like a charm and will power my lights with ease and not be seen . Much better than the online off brand ones.

It won't accept full power or 100% strong/brightness - will only go to 96% brightness

I am giving the product a rating of only four as it won't accept full power or 100% strong/brightness. I paired it with a Feit dimmer switch. At 100% power, the lights blink. By reducing the power to 96% it keeps it from blinking. It was easy to install. I love having the lights power down for better mood lighting in my living space and kitchen. I'm using the 24 Watt Volt Universal Plus Dimming LED Transformer for my LED COB (Chip On Board) light strip which are under my living room cabinets and kitchen island. They are both wired together as it's one large great room.

Power supply for LED light stripsre

So I'm using this Armacost 24 volt power supply to add led lights to the interior of my closet that has no lights. Conveniently I have a hidden security cubby in the wall on the other side of the wall that has standard plug in power outlets that this power supply will plug into. I ran the power cable from this supply unit to an Armacost led power switch/dimmer I'm installing on the interior of the closet and also have a Armacost wireless controller that mounts on the exterior wall outside my closet so I can just control it from there. You do have to pay attention to the led light strip you buy so its 24 volt compatible, otherwise its a pretty simple install to mount some diffuser bars inside the closet wall to house the led strip and running power from the switch. Great power supply and the feature of the wall plug is great so you dont have to alternatively tap into the plug's wiring to power this driver. Highly recommend, this is my second install of Armacost led equipment along with an outdoor light system on my deck gazebo to enjoy the outside with lights after dark.

Well made and compact

I ordered this transformer to handle some undercabinet lighting in our kitchen. After playing around with cheaper alternatives in other applications, I wanted to upgrade to a better brand for an application that will see more frequent use. I am pleased with the quality and ease of install of this compact unit. I hardwired this to a standard dimmer switch which gives it a sleek and simple look. I paired this with Armacost's premium continuous strip lighting which gave off a crisp and uniform light. I still need to run a few more cabinet banks but am quite pleased with this compared to others I have used. This did come with a power cord attached, but you can simply unscrew the leads and connect romex wire right into it. the instructions are also very detailed and break down how to install, tips and tricks for minimizing voltage drop etc. I will likely be buying more of these to add lighting to some built in cabinets as well.

Serious power supply for strip lights - dimmable

This is a serious power supply for strip lights. It pushes out 24VDC, and 45 watts. It allows for dimming, which is important when using strip lights.

A great product

This LED transformer came nicely packaged, is very sturdy, and easy to use. We are in the process of adding LED strip lights in our master bathroom, and this transformer is necessary for us to make everything look perfect. It is simple to use and has connectors that are simple to see and use. The plug wire is five feet in length, which is very helpful because the outlets are not close to where the lights go.

Works exactly as hoped. Well built and dims LED tape lighting perfectly with ordinary household TRIAC dimmer.

Solid LED transformer/driver that performs perfectly

I am installing LED strip lighting under new cabinets. This 60W dimmable transformer/LED driver is a perfect match for my LED tape lighting. I am impressed with the build--it feels solid and not fragile in any way. I'm glad to have the prewired cord as it saves me from having to wire it myself. Removing the cover on the other end reveals the 12V screw down terminals. Connecting wires on this end is easy by just inserting the wires in the holes and tightening the screws with a small screwdriver. I haven't had a chance to install it yet, by I connected the unit to my LED tape lights and tested it with an ordinary household TRIAC dimmer. Works perfectly and dims smoothly without any flicker. Very happy with this unit!

Armacost lighting - easy and effective undercabinet lighting

We had the old undercabinet disk lights that both ran hot and only light up pools on the countertop. The armacost lighting strips were easy to apply and look great. This transformer lights up about 24 feet of LED lighting strips and we hooked it up to the existing 110 volt switched circuit with a new dimmer in the wall plate. It's so easy to apply the lighting strips and it looks amazing. Highly recommend

Great Transformer

The 24-Watt 24-Volt Universal Plus Dimming LED Transformer is a great product. We are using it to run the mini lights in our glass door cabinets and the area above the cabinet. I like that the cord to plug it in is just over 5' long. The unit itself is 7" long x 2 1/4" wide and 1" high.Our crown moulding hides it easily. This will work with a dimmer switch. Another nice feature. The directions are very clear and it has a 5 year warranty. I am very happy with this transformer and would absolutely recommend it.

Strong DC transformer

The LED transformer is replacing my existing damaged transformer. The transformer is heavy and strong, and has provision to hang on the wall with screw in horizontally or vertically. But I like to use the extension cord and move from room to room. I am using the tape light and the transformer on an occasional basis in different rooms in my house. The transformer has strong outlet power and creates more light than the older one. Actually I check the required watts & voltage before the order and get a satisfactory result. This is a good replacement.

Under counter lighting

Wanted to add under counter lighting to a section of my kitchen. This system really works well simply use this adapter and attach it to the adhesive light strips picture them simply attached to the bottom of the cabinets using the adhesive backing. They're easy to cut and make them conform to your lighting situation. Very simple to apply. I wired mine to a dimmer light switch that was compatible per the instructions and they work great. Now I can have bright or dim lighting plus the ability to change the colors depending on your situation. Very pleased with this system.

The transformer is great inside but can be used in damp, not wet, areas 45 watts can be used up to 100% without failure or overload. Nicely Built, Solid

This is a nice, solid, ballast intended for 24V LED strings. A 120V two-prong cord is included but can be removed should hard wiring be preferred. The 24V connection is similar as the line input, the wires screw down to a removable terminal on the opposite end of the ballast. Nice solid construction and has screw holes in corners for screw mounting.

This review is for an armacost 60 W 24 V LED transformer I've used other Transformers before this one is far above the best 1 I've seen so far I like it because it's a simple screw application it's semi waterproof you can use it in a damp location if you're gonna use it I wouldn't recommend using it in a wet locatyou should but other than that I've got it I use it on my front porch where I have LED lighting which I'll be in putting backup for Christmas this year And we have a dance with the music what I like is you're a demo bowl the transformer is it works well and 60 W is alive for LED especially 24 Make it really stand out look good
