Ruined my frosting AND my day!!!
This broke within the first 2 minutes mixing my cream cheese frosting! I had to mostly mix by hand! Now, my arm is tired and my frosting is clumpy! I’d give it 0 stars if I could!!!!! my frosting still tastes pretty good though.
Good Blender, But Gets Hot Quickly
This immersion blender works well and mixes thoroughly, but it does get hot on your hands pretty quickly. That’s the only downside. On the positive side, it’s been durable—I’ve had it since September 2024, and there’s no rust so far. Overall, a solid product if you don’t mind the heat! Only reason I give it a 4 star it’s because it gets hot easily. The blending is a 5 star since it blends very well!
Allow option for all to be in one box
Item is for Christmas gift so unable to rate workings of it—however need items to come all in one box. Three small items all came one item at a time with two of them in huge box’s for item inside—all could have been in one box—save planet. Three truck drivers for three packages that could have been in one—so sad
Great tool!
I have had one of these for a couple years now and it is great. I just used it, the whisk, to make homemade cake frosting. I bought one for someone else about a year ago and I just bought another that will be a Christmas gift this year. The attachments also wash up well in the dishwasher.
This immersion blender with whisk from kitchen Smith is great. I like how it’s lightweight and easy to handle plus it has an ergonomic soft grip handle. it also includes a whisk, which is great for whisking and blending ingredients together. And the attachments are dishwasher safe. Definitely Recommend!
Smoking half way through blending my soup
Bought this a couple of hours ago to blend veggie soup. I already did a round of blend in the food processor and the veggies were more than enough cooked (could smoosh them in my fingers). After a couple of minutes of use (constant motion to not get the blades jammed), it started smelling like burning and smoke came out of the handle. The handle became really hot to the touch. I will return this to target.
Stick Blender
This blender has a competent motor and sharp enough blade. I have had it 3 years, and the blades are getting dull although the motor is still fine. I use it for soups, dressings, smoothies (without ice) and for the price it's a great value. About a year ago the housing where it clips to the motor cracked, and wouldn't stay on. I gorilla glued it and it kept going. Buying another soon.
Good affordable buy.
Works great! Easy to clean. Easy to store. Easy to use. Wish the blade was a little bigger though. But made 2 soups with it so far!
I received this blender as a Christmas gift. The whisk attachment works well on liquids and beating eggs… less resistant foods. I tried to cream some overcooked potatoes to whip them smoothly but they had a hard time with something with thicker consistency. The blender attachment worked really well on the potatoes and tomatoes for a more glossy finish. The whisk attachment piece was being washed so it was not in the picture.
Great Product at a GREAT Price!
This is a much better immersion blender than I expected. It is very powerful, with two speeds. I did need to use both hands when pureeing soup. It did a terrific job in a quick amount of time. The Whip attachment is very sturdy. I don't think I've seen another immersion blender at this price point. Thank You Target.
Look somewhere else
The attachment wore down and the plastic around the blender connection cracked. So now it’s useless because it won’t connect. When it did work it would get really hot and I had to wait for it to cool down. Get a different one. I should’ve looked at the reviews. It’s a race between whether it’ll overheat or break on you.
Hobby Cheif
I originally purchased this item as a gift for a family member. I have owned one for years and love the convenience of it! Very handy for quick mixing and easy blade/whisk removal for cleaning. The smaller footprint doesn’t take much space in the cabinet and it’s dishwasher safe. The new one that I just received came with a whisk attachment as well. The rugged construction and versatility provided by this device convinced me to purchase 3 additional units as holiday gifts for friends and family members. This is a great gadget for anyone with a passion for cooking and baking!
Handy little staple
Was kind of an impulse buy but immediately got a lot of use from the blender attachment for creamy masala, Alfredo, and tomato based sauces. Surprisingly easy to clean and simple to store and put together. Haven’t made use of the whisk really just yet, but I’m sure it’ll come in handy down the road
Doesn't work well
I’m really disappointed in this blender. There isn’t an on switch, you have to continuously hold a button for the blender to run. Then it is very messy. It splattered soup all over my counter tops. Lastly, it doesn’t work very well. I attempted to use it for tomato soup and the soup came out so chunky. I guess you get what you pay for.
Superb Value
This immersion blender was significantly cheaper than the other options. I decided to buy it for that reason but was skeptical about the quality of it due to the lower price point. I was proven wrong when this immersion blender turned out to be AMAZING. Sturdy, multiple heads, and a strong sunction which blended up my vodka cause in seconds. I was VERY impressed by this.
Excellent For Cold Process Soap
I purchased this over one year ago to be used exclusively for soapmaking, so I can't speak to how well it does in the kitchen. That being said, for my purposes, I have no complaints. I usually make between 1.25 to 2.5 pound batches on low speed. It's nice and stable used with either hand, and responsive with my thumb on the button. No mess, no fuss. Just make sure to tap all the air bubbles out each time you submerge the blender into the oils. I blend in short bursts, swirl it around, and repeat until trace. Easy peasy. Oh, the whisk is a nice bonus, too. I use it for mixing lye by hand (WARNING: DO NOT attach to blender when doing this).
Super Turbo mode, even on "low."
The price for this is really low but it makes sense why. The lowest setting of the two settings, is still super ultra Turbo mode! The highest setting nearly launches whatever you're using it in to the moon, lol. I'm surprised I didn't start rotating with it. Really though, the low setting is not low. I purchased this to create homemade soaps and needed something specific that I wouldn't use on anything else but the soap, so I wanted cost effective. It stirs so fast (even on "low" that it creates a significant amount of air and bubbles within a few seconds flat. That's counter-intuitive for what I needed. The whisk tool is also extremely flimsy. For those reasons I gave it a 3 star. If you don't mind super high rotation with lots of air and bubbles then this may be a winner for you.
I use it more than i thought i would
This thing is fast even on the low setting, but once you get used to it it works great! The trick is to tilt your bowl away from you and blend at an angle kinda. You’ll figure it out.. you got this! (don’t use glass cups ever btw) but other than that this thing is a good purchase it is cheap and works so quick you can make sauces, soups, smoothies, hummus, cakes, like I love this thing
Good Hand Blender at a Great Price
I've had a Ninja Blender/Processor system for a long time as well as other blenders but for blending protein powder shakes they always leave powder on the sides and bottom they need scraping off with a spatula then blending some more, plus all the cleaning for a supposedly quick easy task. I had an expensive Cuisinart hand blender that I loved but died a couple years ago and put off spending a lot of money on another. I found this ridiculously cheap model for 14.99 and only tried it a few times but it works perfectly for my shakes and cleaning only takes blending it in some water with or without soap, a few seconds and it's all clean. Only very minor knock is no lock option for speed so you have to hold the button but it's a small price to pay for the small price you'll pay. NOTE: Haven't encountered the burning smell others have complained about yet. Very happy with purchase.
Just ok
I wanted to love this tool but it smells! Other reviews noted that the product gave of a smell while being used. I experienced this as well. It’s almost like a melting plastic smell. As for the tool itself, it works well for soups and smoothies with ice. It does have a card time with frozen fruit. Overall you get what you pay for. Purchased this on sale for $14.99. Not sure how long it will last but will do the job for now.
