This works for me.

The size is great to use under my desktop. It slides out for easily cleaning behind it. It is not a high quality cabinet, unfortunately. It is pretty light weight but I could not find anything heavier even in stores. This will work.

This is going into my basement workshop to hold manuals for tools - perfect for that, it's well finished and not likely to rust, and the drawer combination is exactly what I needed (all 3 lock with the key). The casters are good quality and it moves easily. One note - it's HEAVY! - If it's going up or down stairs you might want a second person to help.

Great Purchase

Great file cabinet. We purchased the off white color and it looks terrific. Drawers open and close smoothly and was easy to assemble. It holds a good amount of files and the folders don't slip off the sliders as they do in some file cabinets that we've owned. Would recommend.

Great product!

I am delighted by this small file cabinet. I had to return an earlier one because it would topple over once files were in it. This one has a weighted bottom to prevent that.

I would buy this cabinet again, from someone else

The filing cabinet seems like it is of high quality and I like its appearance. I am disappointed, however, in that it arrived with a dent in it, which I photographed and reported. I requested a partial refund (20%) and was told that I would need to instead return the item for a refund or replacement. This item arrives assembled, packed in a large cardboard box with large volumes of plastic and styrofoam surrounding it. I understand the need for such packaging, but am disappointed that the customer's only recourse when receiving a cosmetically damaged item is to go through the hassle and material waste of returning and replacing - Zoro would rather pay for repeated shipping and handling than make it right with its customer. I would purchase this cabinet again, but from a different seller.

Our company has purchased this product in the past, & we needed 3 more. The three cabinets came within a week. The boxes looked in good condition from shipping, but once we opened them, there were small dents on the cabinets. Doesn't bother us to have little dents but be aware.

Love this cabinet. Comes fully assembled, drawers move smoothly and don't wobble. Sleek self-handles help the whole unit blend seamlessly with my other office furniture. Castors are hidden but roll easily if needed. Very pleased!

I would not buy this again.

I ordered two to supplement two other some ones I bought previously from NBF about 5 years ago. The new ones look the same but are a different brand, and much lower quality. I am sorry that NBF stopped selling the Maxor brand. They are excellent.

My concern was shipping damage as noted by other reviews, however my item arrived in perfect condition, both secured inside the box with extra foam protection on the outside of the box. Seems to be well constructed for a file cabinet in this price range. My only complaint was no drawer dividers (for smaller drawers) were included, you would think that would be standard. All said would purchase again.

They were exactly what I was looking for and fit perfectly under my desk. The drawers work exactly as expected, and glide smoothly. I like that they have a locking feature, as I keep our important documents in them. I have a 2-drawer and a 3-drawer next to each other, and they hold everything I need. I enjoy having the top drawers in the 3-drawer unit to keep all my desk and office supplies.

No reason to spend more

Excellent, very well made set of desk drawers. These are every bit as good as comparable items costing 3-4 times as much. The drawers pull out smoothly and close flush. The four casters are large, roll smoothly and quietly, and remain out of sight underneath. The base is weighted so that the whole thing doesn't tip over, when you pull out a filled drawer, and it stays put on smooth floors. The back and bottom do not have any openings, so the lock can not be easily circumvented (without being broken or picked). Even the black pained finish is uniform and high-quality. My drawers arrived well-packaged and unharmed (which, especially for a large or heavy item, is not always a given when shipping to my apartment in NYC).

This is the perfect size for my home office. I appreciate the offer of different colors to cover all tastes. The item itself works as advertised. The drawers are deep enough for all my documents and I like the idea of being able to lock it as well. Shipped and arrived very quickly. We are happy with our purchase.

every one was dented

The file drawers all work and are serviceable. However, every single one of them was dented somewhere on the body. Disappointing as we ordered these for our new medical office and wanted everything to look perfect. Lucky for us they go under counters, so most of the dents are hidden. However, wouldn't risk ordering again if they were going to be out where people could see them.

Better than expected.

The unit arrived undamaged due to it being well packaged. It arrives fully assembled which is a big plus. This steel cabinet features much better construction and materials than the cheaper office supply chain store models. The drawers work smoothly, the top and sides are sturdy, and the unit is weighted to prevent tipping when opening the file drawer. The two smaller drawers are much more useful for my purpose than two large file drawers. The front casters are fixed position and the rear casters swivel. The only negative comment I have is that the casters are recessed causing the unit to drag when rolling over carpet. The value for money is excellent. I can recommend this product.

worth every penny

I purchased this item because I needed a well-constructed small filing cabinet with real drawers as I have work station desks and no storage. I have not been disappointed in any way. The two best features of it are that the casters are recessed into the bottom so it glides over the floor without the casters protruding under the cabinet - cleaner and less likely to catch on something. Also, the construction is heavy gauge steel or aluminum that clearly can take a beating and looks good at the same time. It's very hard to find a small file cabinet with features of a larger, more expensive one but this is it. I spent twice as much as I would have on a cheap cabinet from a retailer -- this one was worth every penny. I expect to have it a long time.

Quality product

Love my new file cabinet! The drawers are full extension, so I can easily insert or remove items from the very back of the drawers too. This is a heavy duty product for home use and comes with 2 keys. I am making a new desk for myself with the three-drawer, a 2 drawer and a slab of granite! Perfect height for a desk and much more functional than the old desk I have with broken file drawers. Now I'm styling too!

The file cabinet is well made, the drawers operate smoothly and the finish is quite good. The casters can be removed if you so desire. The cabinet was extremely well packed and there was no damage from shipping. The only odd feature is the manufacturer has glued 4 bricks to the interior base to add weight. This increases the weight of the cabinet 20-25 pounds and is really not necessary. Overall it was a very good purchase except for this unusual design feature.

Solid file cabinet

This file cabinet is a good weight. The two top drawers a great for all my office supplies and the bottom drawer is sufficient for my files. It rolls nicely when needed and the grey color is great. I like the clean look. If you need a locked cabinet, be aware that only the top drawer locks on this cabinet. If you don't have anything to hide, I highly recommend this file cabinet. As always, Overstock was great to do business with.

Great value!

Purchased three of these in the gray to use as desk pedestals under a counter top. The height was a little low but it works. They are on carpet so the castors are not a problem. I love the fact these are deep and full extension. The drawers roll nicely and the letter size hanging folders will hang without needing additional hardware. In my opinion the color is more gray then the picture, but still a light muted gray. They blend with my upper **** gray cabinets nicely. They all arrived quickly, well packaged and had no damage.
