Nice but flimsy shelf

The shelf itself is beautiful. Fit the corner very well. Easy to put together. But the quality is REALLY bad. For $140 I expect something better than this. It’s flimsy and no enforcement so it really has to be secured to the corner. I’m using it to put light toys in my son’s room only, would not recommend for books or heavy stuff.

Disappointed

For a home department store I was expecting better quality. The legs are cheap and wobbly. I had a hard time assembling it, especially when it came to the shelves. It looks great in the corner but just don’t touch it.

The DANYA B 63in. Espresso wood 5-shelf corner Bookcase

The 5-shelf corner bookcase that I purchase was poorly constructed. The parts that came pre-assembled was horrible ,the wood was busted where it was put together and some of it wasn't even joined all the way together . I was glad that I was able to return it, did not meet my expectations. Will never purchase from DANYA B again.

This is a fairly sturdy shelf and it can hold quite a bit of stuff. It wasn’t hard to put together. It took me maybe 20 minutes by myself. The directions are basically non existent. You will need a Phillips head screw driver to assemble. I like the way it looks except it’s really fairly red red not what I think of when I hear cherry wood. It’s not awful though and I have seen worse cherry wood things. I may end up painting it someday though.

I’ve seen these kinds of tiered shelves everywhere lately so I decided to give this one a try. The black is perfect, pretty much goes with everything. It took me about 30 minutes to assemble. I would recommend a power drill with a screw attachment. People with problems with stability probably assembled them by hand and you really need some force behind it to make sure it’s as secure as it should be. I use it as a bookshelf/curio/plant hybrid with the textbooks on the bottom to balance out the weight. It looks really sharp and it stores a lot of stuff. The only problem is now I need some bookends! It’s the perfect size to stick in a corner and get some more storage and use out of a room.

Attractive

It has a great aesthetic appeal and is very streamlined and modern. It was fairly intuitive and easy to assemble, however, it just is not the sturdiest of shelving units. I have mine in a corner and the walls help support it. And don’t expect to load it with much weight. This is very aesthetically attractive but not a top functional piece.

Nice looking, but wish it was a little more sturdy.

I received this product in exchange for an unbiased review. This shelf unit has a wonderful classic look that blends in well with a room. For the money, I wish it was a bit sturdier - there aren't any brackets as a part of its construction, so even in a corner, it sways a bit from side to side. I think placing some heavier items on the bottom-most shelf will help with that specific problem, and the shelves themselves seem secure in relation to the unit. I just wouldn't put anything that tips over easily on any of the shelves, especially something breakable, unless the swaying problem has been dealt with. It was fairly straightforward to assemble, but it went a lot faster when using a screwdriver bit in an electric drill. Some of the screws took a bit of force to actually catch in the holes, and it would have taken forever if done by hand.
