[Rewarded Review] This works well for me

This stand works well for my purposes. It securely holds my laptop without sliding off, and enables me to use a wireless full-sized keyboard on my desk. It also helps with a better view on video meetings. I like it and and happy with the purchase.

Perfect

I use two laptops when I work from home. One is for a video meeting, one is to type the minutes or view documents. I had been putting the video conference laptop on a stack of books, with the other laptop in front of it on the desk. This riser solves all my WFH problems. It’s high enough that you can’t see the other laptop on the video meeting. I wish I had bought it two years ago.

Poorly built for the price

This item is mostly plastic and quite flimsy. Adjustment is jerky and awkward. The lip that keeps the laptop from sliding off of the platform is not of adequate height.

Overpriced and devoid of features

Something at this price point should have significant features and a smarter design or better build materials. This is just standard plastic with no fan(s), no USB hub, or any other defining features. I returned it.

Poor Performance

The product seemed a little flimsy, but the big problem is that the front support lip is too short and too slippery. My HP Laptop with rounded front base slipped right off. I had to return it.

Does not do what it claims

Bought this riser for use with a 17 inch laptop. This riser literally DROPPED THE LAPTOP. Does not do as it claims. The lip to hold said laptop is not large enough to securely hold much of anything. (even an iPad, I tried that too) Do not buy!

Good device but lightweight

Very simple and easy to use. Only two recommendations for improvements however: Its very light so any small bump moves it. There needs to be rubber footers or other grip material to prevent sliding. Also needs something to clip the laptop to the device. The lip is not very tall and the pc can easily slip off if bumped. Otherwise serves the purpose well.

Fellowes Designer Suites Laptop Riser

I like the Fellowes Designer Suites Laptop Riser. I have a small desk and it helps when I have to do online work and take notes. It is very bulky but also very good. Also, the different levels helps when my back is hurting and helps create less friction on my wrists when I am typing.

My laptop keeps falling off the Riser

The front lip is too short. My laptop keeps falling off the front of the riser unless I reduce the tilt angle that the riser sits at. The picture online is misleading. You cannot tilt it that far to screen higher in the air. I hate it.

Poor quality

The salesperson strongly encouraged me to buy this online as there was not a model in the store. It was cheap plastic, very slippery and a too narrow ledge to hold my laptop. It did raise it very far and my laptop slipped right off it at first use. It got returned.

Very helpful...

While the plastic is lightweight and the shelf holding the laptop is a little short, I found this item to be very helpful. I find that I’m not looking down all day while at my desk. It also allowed me to even it up with my desktop monitor. Worth it!

Laptop Riser was the needed height

My desk has a shelf above the working surface which lessened the choices of risers I could use. This riser gave me the desired angle, removed my worry of heat under the laptop and fit under the shelf. I would recommend.

Made a positive difference for work at home

Very good for work laptop but not for personal laptop. The lip not big enough and laptop kept sliding off. Did make a big difference for work by making it more comfortable to type and added Soave to my desk.

Great for my neck

Now that I am working more at home, I noticed I was getting a neck strain. My husband said I was probably not sitting well, ergonomically speaking. This sent me in search of a solution and this was it. It just what I needed - neck feels way better.

Does just what I wanted it to do

I bought, initially, another more expensive plastic laptop riser. It was clunkier and it didn't have the "hooks" on the bottom to prevent the laptop from slipping. That was the main reason that I Bought this one. I saw it recommended on some web site that rate the best laptop risers.

Fellowes Laptop Riser

The dimensions of the riser is equivalent to a catalog. It is tricky getting your laptop to fit onto the grove and not slide off the riser from an elevated position. That holder needs to be 1/2 inch taller. Great addition to the laptop for eye level placement.

Functional

I was hoping to find a sleek, minimalist, modern laptop stand for a work-from-home setup, but I was in a hurry and local options were extremely limited. This is basic, black plastic. A bit flimsy feeling but it will do the job since the laptop is just sitting there, never moving, and basically functioning as a second monitor. I wouldn’t want to be adjusting the angle on the regular — the plastic adjustor doesn’t seem like it can handle a lot of use — but for what i need it for, it’s fine.

Laptop riser

Definitely works for me. I have a 14” laptop sit well. The cool vents keep it from getting over heated. It sleek and clean. If you look for something in a pinch and a great price. I recommend you get it!

Love this

Did not have the right setup to work from home during COVID-19 self quarantine along with several other family members all at once, so we turned the dining room into an office/school room. Unfortunately the furniture in there wasn’t made to support 8 hours of laptop work so my body suffered. This product saved my neck and shoulders from tremendous strain and I love the fact that I could adjust the angle as needed. Only one word of caution...make sure you place it on a flat and stable surface.
