Won't work with OLD work Ceiling box
I don't know how this item has high reviews. The product itself is great however the canopy that hides the connections in the junction box will NOT cover an OLD work junction box. I mean seriously. Spend the 2 extra cents of plastic to make the thing a little bigger. Complete waste of time.
Very Nice Linear Light
Very nice Linear Light. However, the bulbs that they prefer to use is difficult to remove. I prefer to use the regular bulbs. Also, the instruction is difficult to follow.
Nice user friendly easy to install.
track length is 44 inches, not 4 feet (48 inches)
The length of the track in this kit is 44 inches not 48 inches (4 feet). The description and package indicate 4 feet length.
Poor Quality, Failure after 1 Year
These lights were easy to install and looked good. However, after a little over a year I noticed one of the lights had separated from the base that connects to the track and was just dangling from a wire. The hard plastic where the screws attach had simply broken. I figured it was just defective and removed that light. A few months later, though, I discovered two more lights (on separate tracks) had also failed in the same way.
great for focused lighting
dim lighting, The product was easy to install although the interweaving of languages in the instructions was a bit difficult to follow. I purchased this as general lighting in a small powder room but found that the focused light was not appropriate to my purpose.
Unlimited lumens and great flexibility
Can't believe how much light this brings to my formerly dark den! I added 3 extra light heads and it adds even more lumens. The flexibility of being able to aim them wherever you want and put them on a dimmer adds so much flexibility.

I have installed multiple track lighting kits over the past 20 years. Pretty much all of the different brands install, operate and illuminate the same. This installation was a perfect fit for a small ceiling area and worked well with the décor. Good quality fixture.
Odd light kit
I'm no professional, but I've installed a number of track lights, etc through my 50+ years of life. This kit is non-standard (a weird mounting bracket the track screws into?), uses non-standard lights (BR20), and is difficult to install (getting the wires from the junction box, around the track and rotated into track is ridiculous, for example).
2 lights have bad contact; old wiring fire hazard
Only the 1st lamp I installed on the track works. The 2d and 3d lamps only come on when I jiggle them.
wasting time removing labels
Install went fine until... The labels on the lamp heads are nearly impossible remove. Then label rips instead of coming off in one piece. The glue remains and you need alcohol to remove the glue residue. Ten minutes that I'll never get back. Not a bad product just lousy labels.
One light "head" discolored
Even though it has the 45watt recommended bulbs installed, one of the light fixtures is turning black on the outside like it's been overheated. It's only warm to the touch like the other two. I thought it was a shadow until I looked closer. Otherwise it works ok. See pic. Base of head on right.
On Track
I hired an electrician to install the light. They were done in a half an hour! It looks great. I bought GE's "Best Light" reveal LED (60 w replacement) bulbs. The bulbs are listed as an HD Light. The previous track lighting had CFL bulbs. My kitchen is now significantly brighter.
Piece of garbage
This is the worst light I’ve ever tried to install. The instructions show putting the wire nuts on AFTER mounting to the box but that is clearly not possible. There is no where for them to go then. I could not get a single light to come on. They would not click in and even if they did I wouldn’t trust this trash in my house. And good luck mounting it in the direction you want - the plate will only allow you to go one way. Straight back to Lowe’s although it would’ve been more satisfying to break it in half

Simple. Straightforward track light. Allows you to replace bulbs. So many tracks do not. And you know, eventually a light will burn out of that led track and you’ll have to toss the entire thing. Great for my laundry room.
[Rewarded Review] With only two sets of anchors and screws, it was...
With only two sets of anchors and screws, it was quick and simple to install this three-lamp track lighting unit to my 9 feet ceiling. Under the white plastic cover are two more smaller screws to snug up the sides of the track. I used three Philips 50W 500 Lumens, Daylight dimmable PAR20 Flood LEDs, and it's giving a wide spot light above my piano keyboard to light up the music sheets well. It's a bit too bright and in retrospect I wish I installed dimmers.
Total waste
I bought two of these to install in the kitchen. everything went well until it didn't. no power, nothing. fuses were fine, wiring was fine. the quality of the product is bad: the tracks were bent and you couldn't get the track heads to install correctly at all. Just threw them out and went to Home Depot for my track lighting needs. Spare yourself pain and stay away from these.
[Rewarded Review] Nothing but darkness
Installed per directions on the box. Fitting the wires into the housing is difficult. It is hard to snap in the cans properly. After installation, nothing but darkness. No light. The wiring can't be simpler: white / black / ground. Checked connections repeated. Nothing. Will return tomorrow.
[Rewarded Review] Horrible waste of time and money
Purchased for extra lighting in an upstairs hallway. NO papers or sheet with installation instructions. One must rely on the 4 pictures on the box to figure out installation. Big, thick wires do not fit neatly in the housing. Once everything ws wired, it took some force to get the fixtures in the track. Several times, they got jammed. After installation, flipped the switch....dark hallway. Confirmed connections. Confirmed power with multimeter. Flipped switch, still nothing. Changed out NEW light bulbs. Nothing. Removed the unit, put up the old fixture...LIGHT! Took down the old fixture, put up this unit...flipped the switch...DARKNESS. It will be returned tomorrow. I will pick anything that doesn't have Lithonia Lighting on the box.
[Rewarded Review] Difficult to insall Light Bulbs once track light
I liked the looks of the track lights ok but the problem was trying to install light bulbs. I bought the GE 45 watt LED R20 bulbs that were on the rack next to the track lights. Almost impossible to seat the bulbs all the way into the sockets. No room to get your fingers in the Track Light to screw the bulbs in. One bulb fell out & broke, another I could not screw in far enough to tighten it. I ended up replacing the bulbs with non LED track light bulbs.
