Pluses and Minuses

This is my third Soho Plein Air easel. I like the ease of set up and the relative stability. I tie the cross piece to the legs as I kept dropping it. The nuts and bolts holding the ledge on the cross bar fell off and were lost on the first outing of the newest easel. My second one had the rubber feet and two of the leg segments fall out so it can only be used while sitting. I forget the defect on the first one, however it lived with duct tape for a long time.

Works for ME

Nicely packaged. Only problem I had was reading instructions....but I am old and haven't renewed by glasses prescription for many years. LOL They are printed really small, but I did figure it out. Solid, well constructed easel. Can't wait to do some plein air. Thanks as always for superior products and easy ordering online.

So light and compact

I use this easel at art class, for traveling, and many other projects. It's easy to assemble and to pack up in its carrying case. Light and compact, and doesn't tip easily.

It works

I paint in Jackson square in the French quarter. The easel is light, small yet sturdy. Good purchase.

Easel is very lightweight but strong. The best feature is probably how adjustable it is. It's great for painting but also could be used to display finished works at shows or at home. An added benefit is that it really helps save my back, since before, I was painting on a table most of the time. I feel like it will be a great tool for advancing my art level and career overall.

I use this outdoors. It is light, which is important to me. Still getting used to how it holds the canvas. I don't like getting the top or bottom canvas holding parts splattered with Paint...

Great, Simple Easel

This easel is just what I was looking for. It's lightweight and packs up small enough enough to carry on hikes. I can fit it in the side pocket meant for water bottles on my hiking pack. It's quick and easy to set up and take down, it packs well into it's carrying case, and it's not flimsy.

Great service

Will use for plein air. Light weight but fairly sturdy. A bit fragile. Top canvas clamp handle snapped off when mast slid down upon removing board. A rubber washer or bumper would prevent the problem. Jerry's shipped out replacement the next day. Arrives this week. Descent for the price.

Good travel easel

Very easy to set up.
