I was a little skeptical when I open the box and noticed the base was made of plastic and the globe was made of plastic but the pole is made of heavy aluminum and the plastic base makes sense because it’s going to get wet being outside and it needs to be filled with sand so overall I’m very pleased it’s a very good looking lamp when you look at it you think it’s installed in the ground from the way it looks very professional very nice size it is a extremely good price for what they offer

Plastic base didn’t line up well with cover making it...

Plastic base didn’t line up well with cover making it difficult to assemble. It’s just ok. Wish I purchased from the store where I can fell and check the quality.

Terrible alignment of holes.

Very excited and it was great out the box. Unfortunately, the pre-drilled holes made it very difficult. The alignment was off so much that it was very hard to screw into holes. we gave up after after 4 hours. We had to make an extra hole at the bottom if the base...all of 2 went perfectly, but that 3rd hole was off by a few millimeters. Then attached the main pole A into the joiner and we got stuck again. Great product but the pre-approval drilled holes being off just irritated me. Cant take back since we drilled a hole in the base. Money wasted. if any one knows others ways to get the joiners into the part A...let me know.
