Stylish and unique

Caught my eye online due to the unique handles. this desk is gorgeous. Great value. Every single person that comes into my office remarks how nice it is. Sturdy and stylish.

I like the desk overall

I had a couple issues. Some scratching of the finish on the desk top itself. I had hoped from the photos that this type of surface would not be prone to scratches like the wood-like finishes. I am also missing 2 screws. Overall the instructions were good and I am happy with my new desk.

Good home office desk.

We had to buy this unseen as none were on display at the store. On delivery we had to open the box in the driveway and carry it in by pieces as the box was too heavy for us to pickup. We spent three days assembling the desk. (About 8 hours total). As long as you have the space and tools I would say this is a medium skill build. Maybe not for beginners. The desk is well built, very solid. It's a good home office desk.

Haven't build it, so can't exactly tell if it's good. I gave 4 stars because table is damaged. For almost $400 I expected to get table without any damages.

Beautiful Desk

This is a beautiful desk, but it was damaged. I received a full refund from Sauder. I've used them in the past and have always been completely satisfied. They are one of the best companies I've ever worked with.

I have a home office and I love the desk itself. I do have a problem with the supplies sent along and the predrilled holes. When the package arrived the the hardware box was all intact. I took the bags out and sorted through them. First some did not have numbers on them at all and they were not in the box either. Several had numbers on them but did not match the booklet list of what they should have been. Thank goodness for the instructions. When I got to the end the lower side drawers for the right side were drilled incorrectly. They were upside down from the let side. And, no I did not have them mixed up. I checked several times to make sure they were the correct sides, as it is hard to confuse when they have the ridge in them for drawer bottom. When I got this figured out I was also short on screws in several bags - including black 1. 5"" flat head screws, black 1/2: pan head and flat head screws. I was able to go to the hardware store and get these but it was an inconvenience and I should not have had to do that. Overall I like the desk but would hesitate to order again with the difficulties with the hardware and drilled holes.

The desk was delivered to us damaged. The top of the desk is cracked. I would recommend only if it is delivered timely and not damaged.

Terrible

The worst quality. The desk top came cracked in 4 places. The rest of the desk was very cheaply made. It came broken and other side pieces are falling apart. Cheap pressed board.

Nice modern desk

Due to Covid and more people working from home, desks were delayed everywhere. It wasnt my first choice, but it was a good fit. Now, it does take a few hours to put together (the instruction manual even says “snacks required” and “ this would be a good time to refresh your drink”) so do it when you have some time and pack some patience. Overall nice desk with clean lines and a classic look.

Desktop scratches easily

The desk was relatively easy to assemble but took 2 people a good hour. The disappointment was the ease in which the desk top scratches, leaving white chip marks.

I was REALLY excited about this desk. It's beautiful! And great quality. Pictures dont do justice. Took a couple hours to put together and was pretty simple to do. However, I was so sad to see the big top piece scratched and scuffed up on the top. Customer service was unable to send us just that once piece as a replacement (even though I saw reviews here that the same thing happened to someone else and they were able to send just that piece), so that was unfortunate. It is very heavy and we had already taken all of the pieces upstairs and put it all together and it just was not worth taking back apart to completely exchange. PRO TIP - CHECK ALL PIECES BEFORE PUTTING TOGETHER. They were able to give us some money back, which we are thankful for. I just got a mat/desktop protector to cover up the scratches and set my monitor and keyboard on, so it's all good. I still love it! Just an unfortunate experience.

Beautiful and reasonable

It is a beautiful desk. It took about 4 hours to assemble and the top of the desk has a few small chips in the finish that I used a marker to hide. It is heavy because it's particle board vs. solid wood. Only time will tell if it holds up because it appears to be some thin papery covering over particle board. Almost like shelf liner but no one would know by looking at it. The wood look finish is really pretty and I love the rich taupe color. Would I rather have the same desk made from solid high quality wood? Yes, but the solid wood desks that I've found that have a similar modern style are all between $1700 and $2900 dollars so for the price savings, I'll sacrifice quality. The biggest disappointment was that the desk top doesn't come with the holes in the top to feed the cords through. I prefer to have the cords hidden, not visible on the outside of the desk so I had to cut the holes myself and order desk grommets (hole covers) to give it a finished look. Other than that, this desk looks amazing and is a super buy.

Instructions were on point, however late delivery and a couple of scratches on the top surface panel when package was opened. Not too happy with something I'll be able to see every day. Hope these panels get replace!
