These are great. Well put together except for the bottom of the feet. The floor savers need to be changed out for better sturdier ones. A small issue we can fix ourselves. Otherwise the feet mar a wood floor. That being said these are still an excellent buy

Description small print says the the cloth bands are sold separately. When chairs came, they are only the wooden frame. Obviously you need both halves of the chair so the only reason to sell separate is to to get more money. Now need a second order so double shipping cost since not sold in store!

I'd recommend the product if it hadn't arrived with a bent hinge which makes the chair lean. I had ordered the chair (online) for someone who was out of town. So a little while had passed before we discovered what we were sent was probably someone else's return (the package had been sealed sloppily with clear packing tape that suggested it had been opened and then sealed up). So that put a damper on the gift, but instead of going to the trouble of returning it and wait for another, we attempted to fix it ourselves. It's not perfect, but that's what we chose to do. An unbent version of the chair is probably nice, but we wouldn't know. Buyer beware.

Problem with the foot rest

This is a good quality chair except for one major flaw....if you attach the included foot rest with the two bolts as instructed, you can no longer fold up the chair. Assembled, it attached the footrest with a bolt to each leg of the chair. Most chairs with a footrest attach to one leg permanently, with the other able to fold up when closed and come down resting on a peg when open. Not this one. A major flaw.

No Fabric

Most other sites say "No Fabric" or "Order Fabric Separately" right on the main page. This was buried down in the "read more...." area.

Pay Attention When Ordering!

When I ordered, I thought I was getting chairs with covers...I was wrong. And to order the covers separately was a bit of a hassle and nerve-wracking because I needed everything for my Halloween Party. As it turned out, I got the covers in time and they were easy to put on the chairs. Once assembled, these chairs are very nice and they look nice on my patio. The shipping charges for the covers are outrageous...just not even believable but they know that you can't do a thing with the chair unless you have the cover so they take advantage of your situation. By the time you pay for the chair, the chair's shipping charges, the cover, and the cover's shipping charges, it's all less of a bargain but still a little cheaper than some other director's chairs on the market.
