Sturdy, Heavy Duty, Greater Surface Area

I needed indoor shelving with greater surface area for plants and lights. This unit has served it's purpose well. Plants don't weigh much, though I, a 180lb man, was able to climb and sit on the uppermost shelf to mount lights on the ceiling above without issue. Obviously, nobody should ever do this and I prepared for it to completely collapse, but it is very sturdy and I expect it will last a lifetime. Priced well in comparison to other similar shelves available for greater surface area to hold things.

Great price, very fast delivery, easy to put together. I would recommend watching the assembly video on You Tube. If you are alone, assemble it on the ground, on its side, and then slowly push it up in the space it will be used.

Very strong and it doesn't bend like others

This is a truly commercial grade product. I use it to store my audio equipments and they are very heavy. This rack is the only one that was able to handle the 600lb weight wtihout bending. I am very happy with the quality of the product.

I thought I ordered chrome but received black. Otherwise, it is great. Very sturdy. Conveniently, the tall poles are in two sections so it can be used as two shorter units if desired but it also makes it more manageable to assemble.

arrived damaged. 2 shelves bent. 1 shelf peeling/flaking black anthracite finish. no damage in this area of the shipping box. may have existed prior to being shipped.

Surprisingly Sturdy

Aside from arriving EARLY (WAY TO GO WALMART! CHEERS!) it was well-packaged, quick and easy to assemble, with extra necessary pieces (the "collars" in particular). It's impressively hefty, and quite sturdy. Easy to "level" on this old 200-plus year old flooring, with no "rocking" or "swaying". I hesitated to buy it but I couldn't be happier that I took the chance. I'm using it to hold a variety of items, some of which are rather heavy and expected some "swaying" but, not a bit. I can imagine it would be absolutely perfect in a garage or other work area. And with the wall-mounting hard-ware that comes with, probably great for a play-room. (Note: I'm NOT suggesting it would be any safer for children to climb on than any other shelving. But it can hold quite a bit of play-room items.) I'd recommend this shelving to anybody.

Alera Wire Shelving

Very strong and should hold up to the weight of cases of food at a food pantry being placed on it. Have had many positive comments from our volunteers on how good it looks and makes their daily jobs easier. Was very easy to assemble, but much easier with two people. Would definitely buy the product again.

Exactly what I wanted

This shelf works perfect for our crawls space which can occasionally feel a little damp. I purchased this product because I read that it was intended to be used in a wetdry environment (even an industrial freezer). Easy to assemble and appreciate that the shelfs have adjustable heights. I am purchasing two more!
