The description says 1x3' but they're not even 2.5' long. They look like good quality but the description should be accurate.

LATEX!!! So these smell terrible. My eyes started watering and my lips and hands started burning when I opened the package and removed just one. I instantly thought latex allergy. Item description never said latex - I read carefully - so I googled the type of rubber used as stated on the description and - it's latex. Latex allergies are very common. It should be clearly stated these have latex in them. In process of trying to return. I HAVE TO GET THEM OUT OF MY HOUSE and don't know where to put them until UPS comes. A DANGER TO MY HEALTH! I'm washing my hands and face repeatedly. My lips continue to swell.

Terrible chemical smell!

I am trying to use these on inside basement steps. The smell of chemicals is overwhelming! My gosh I hope it tones down or we won't be able to use them. I opened the package and was bowled over. Doesn't seem like a usual rubber smell. I AM TRYING TO FIND OUT IF THERE IS ANY LATEX IN THEM. I have a latex allergy and am suspicious. Hard to rate on stars. My eyes are burning and I haven't really used them yet. They otherwise seem okay. Thick. Looked durable. Were it not for the smell I would rate them higher. So far we have only taken one out of the package. If the smell doesn't dissipate - and/or if they have latex in them - they are unusable. I have only one out of the package on the lowest basement step and the smell is overpowering in the living room upstairs.

I was disappointed that the overhanging lip is not at a 90 degree angle. It hangs out away from the step.

Perfect product for our usage, Increased the safety factor of stairs.

Nice thick rubber. It does not have adhesive on back. I had to cut of the bull nose off for it to fit flat. No big deal to do.

Perfect for the purpose and the price. Laying them flat with no adhesive so my dog can manage the grated stairs off the back deck. There's some minor slippage here and there, but nothing to be annoyed about, and could be easily fixed with some light adhesive if it became an aggravation.

Great on my Cement Steps

These black mats on my front and back steps make a huge difference in the appearance of my home. They look so beautiful! They are not slippery and your feet have a solid grip. They only move a little when you center them on cement steps, so I am putting a small amount of adhesive on the bottom of the mats so that they stay solidly in place. Overall, they are heavy and very well made.
