Do not buy

Do not buy their products, service is a joke. Sit on the phone for 40 minutes to tell you sorry nothing I can do I don’t work with warranty. Then he told me to put the carpet as a no go zone so it will work. I bought it to vacuum you idiot why would I do that. Good to see they warranty 5 years but only through them bought on Amazon prime days so the garbage product they send them only warranties for 1 year. He offered me 30 percent off if I bought another one over the phone to replace the one I already spent money on. Will not buy another one just get a cheap one from Walmart works just as good and lasts longer. And customer service actually will help you instead of putting you on hold for 30 minutes of the 40 minute call. Save your money

Horrible longevity

I’m not the type to review products but I’m honestly so frustrated with this robot. I have the last model of this robot and if you want to spend a lot of money and get no longevity out of it then this is your vacuum! The vacuum honestly worked great for 7 months especially with dog hair. But the amount of problems and errors this machine had is absurd. I’ve been on the phone with the shark team several times and yes they were helpful but the product itself is absolutely horrible. To spend over $400 on a robot and only get 7 months out of it is ridiculous. Do your research and do NOT buy this robot.

What took me so long to get him!

My only regret on this purchase, is that I didn't get it sooner!!! A neighbor told me she had a Shark Robot, actually her husband told my husband and then I talk to her about it. I went over to get a tutorial and viewing of Steve McQueen. Boy was I impressed! I then took several days to research which one I wanted to get. She had had hers a couple of yrs so there were all sorts of new additions since and I wanted to make sure I got the best for me. Decided on the Dectrct Pro and I can not be happier! I have severe back issues and was finding myself scooting around on a stool to mop, afer I had wore myself out with the vacuum and having to take multiple breaks during! Now I can tell Captain Clean to clean wherever I want him to! It took me a couple of mappings to get it him exactly how I want the vacuumoing to be done and Viola! its done. I have had him 1 month today, and I cannot say enought good!!! LOVE LOVE LOVE!!!!

Regret purchasing

We really liked our shark robot vacuum so my husband thought I would love this “upgrade” with the mop feature. Unfortunately, it has not met our expectations. It does not handle human hair as well as the other (it’s constantly getting wrapped up in the roller). It sits higher than the other so it no longer goes under key areas in our home. It bulldozes over objects as opposed to pushing the

The DetectPro Neverstuck hadour jaws to the floor

I’ve only used it for one run, here’s how it went. I charged the vacuum up on the base, then gave it an explore run. That went very smoothly, unfortunately a section under my couch didn’t get mapped. It’s be nice to be able to edit your map later even if just using a paint brush tool to fill in the unmapped areas. One day, otherwise I’d have to remap but it’s not that badly mapped so I’ll live for now. In order to map it I decided to lift everything off the floor, by stacking onto furniture, basically anything that wouldn’t be “permanent” so everything except my dining table, kitchen island, and big couch, and other permanent furniture like dressers, shelves and beds. But I placed plants, smaller arm chairs, toy bins, dining chairs, etc up. This helped it get a good understanding of the layout and gave it a Pure look at the space, with as little obstacle detection required as possible during its initial Explore. THEN once it was mapped I ran it once on a Clean run with everything still lifted up onto furniture. So far so good. I really enjoy it so far. The app leaves a bit to be desired like the battery charging indicator on app only changes every 10% so it sometimes feels like it’s doing nothing, but rest assured it IS charging. Also takes a long time to charge. About 4-6 hrs. The obstacle detection is great so far. Although it haven’t stress tested it out yet. The neverstuck technology is amazing and hilarious and cute. My wife and I just had our jaws to the floor how effectively it could pull itself apart over 1 inch + transitions. The best way to describe what it does is- it walks. It lifts one wheel up then lifts the other in a swinging motion, to get over a transition. It’s so adorable and works well. He’s quite the character. His name is obviously Sharky, and he is one determined and what I’d call “aggressive” robot. Nothing gets in his way. I’ll update in a month though.

[Rewarded Review] Obsessed!

I will start with saying this is my first robot vacuum. I’ve always been hesitant bc my cats leave toys and other strings and random things all over the floor & I always assumed I would still have to vacuum anyway bc the robot won’t get into the little corners…well I was wrong. When I saw that this vacuum has higher object detection capabilities, I knew I had to try it (I’ve been researching for a few months now) I have LVP flooring & my cats track litter so I vacuum twice a day. I have not pulled my Dyson out even once since I’ve received this. It gets everything, under the cabinets & furniture and even works itself around the dining room table and chairs really well. It even climbs up onto the base of the cat tree! In two weeks it hasn’t gotten caught on anything! I thought for sure it would get tangled in the Christmas tree skirt, nope! And it is faux fur! It got up on it and vacuumed it (not perfectly) but it made its way off without any issues even though it left the skirt a little messy, it’s totally fine! Also, after I set up the Christmas tree, glitter was everywhere!!! I had to run out to get more lights so I decided to run the vacuum while I was gone just to help (I had low expectations) but I came home and the floors were spotless, I could not believe my eyes! So as far as vacuuming efficiently & avoiding obstacles this thing does an amazing job!

Wow!! My Shark self cleaning, self emptying and compacting robot vacuum is a dream. I had a previous Shark robot vaccum which I also loved, but this 1 just takes the biscuit. It is very easy to set up and takes a matter of minutes. It is packaged wonderfully and is a pleasure to unbox. It does have to be fully charged before use and this takes a little while but after that it is good to go. It is fully controllable from the app and "Tony Shark" then guides you through the process on the app of how to map out your home. I picked up all items off the floor that either shouldn't be there, or would hinder it's navigation. I then sent Tony to map out my entire home, which took about 30 minutes. After mapping, you are given the option to name and label each room of your home which is very straightforward. You can then send your vacuum off for it's first cleaning. It works fast and dilligently and is very good at picking up dirt and loose debris - espeically pet hair! You have 3 options for speed and clean type. This is one of my favorite features, you can set the vacuum to specifically clean a messy room or area! We have a busy working back door which attracts a lot of leavesd and dirt and Tony Shark will spend 10-15 minutes (if I tell him to) cleaning this specific area at a higher power, to give it a really deep clean. For a regular full house clean, you can choose "Eco, normal or max" power levels. Tony is great at detecting when he is on carpet or hardfloor and will adjust accordingly. My other absolute favorite feature is that Tony will perodically (during a long clean) and after every clean, empty himself into a large emptying chamber on his docking station, which is compressed and has an odor blocker. This means I only have to manually do anything about once every 30-40 days! Overall I am VERY impressed with this robot vacuum and can't wait to see what Shark comes out with next.

[Rewarded Review] Shark attack

The Shark - Detect Pro Self-Empty Robot Vacuum with NeverStuck Technology has done a very good job at cleaning with a few minor hiccups.

Let’s be honest here. Everyone really wants to be able to go about their lives while the floors are cleaned without effort. Unfortunately this seems to be a pipe dream. The Shark robot vacuum is a decent supplement to an already regular vacuum schedule. It can have trouble maneuvering in pre-mapped areas, and has a tendency to quit in the middle of a cycle without completing the room. Okay, pros- This vacuum can handle a surprising amount of pet hair. While it can’t get everything, the Matrix clean feature does make it effective. The noise level is impressively minimal. Even while the robot is running, I can comfortably hear anything going on around me like conversation or streaming. The waste chamber is so easy to remove and empty, with a nice button to keep it from making a mess on your hands. And finally, it’s just nice to enjoy a break while the vacuuming is completed around me. The cons - It took three times mapping the floor before the robot was able to clean a room fully. There are times it will quit in the middle of a room and return to the base. It doesn’t pick up everything in an area, even after a few passes. Overall, it’s good as a supplementary cleaning tool, but I don’t think I’ll be retiring my stand vacuum quite yet.

[Rewarded Review] Extremely User Friendly and Powerful

I have seen and heard about robot vacuums but never really embraced the idea of an unattended device running around my house to clean my floors. This all changed when I found this extremely intelligent and efficient Shark - Detect Pro self-emptying cleaning machine.

[Rewarded Review] Gets every speck of dust and never gets stuck

To start, I’m going to make a number of comparisons between this new Shark Detect Pro robot vacuum and another Shark robot I own that was a new model over a year ago and have had running around since then. This new one shares a number of design characteristics and feature with my other robot, as well as a few quirks, but brings a number of differences that are supposed to make it better but I’m not convinced. First of all, it’s overall design with the self-emptying bin is very similar, almost identical. The bin stores upwards of 30 days of cleaning before needing to be emptied, and charges the robot when it’s not in use. The robot itself is a classic round design with a side blower for pushing debris away from the baseboards and a little brush by that blower for collecting that debris towards the main brush roller. The roller brush is easy to remove for clearing out trapped hair or strings that might get tangled in it from time to time, as is the dust bin for cleaning the air filter or other stubborn debris it picks up. The main differences are that the detect pro has different sensors than my other unit, adding additional IR sensors in front and underneath it that seem to be the reasons it is advertised as having “never-stuck” and “Dirt Detect” technology. My older robot will frequently get too close to loose socks or to the edge of my stairs and get itself in a situation it cannot get out of, whereas the new Detect Pro seems to do a much better job of keeping itself out of trouble. I left a pair of shorts on the floor that would have gotten the old robot stuck for certain and the new one avoided the obstacle without issues. It also is able to traverse my bathroom mat which has defeated the other robot as well, and while it tends to make a lot of noise trying to get over and around said mat it does so without my help. So far, I feel like the “never-stuck” tech does indeed mean it’ll do the job without getting bound up on unexpected articles or almost falling down the stairs. One thing that does shock me however is the amount of damage it has already sustained after just three cleaning runs on its sides from hitting my baseboards and furniture. With all the sensors it has, I figured it should be significantly less likely to strike things, but it actually seems to do so more often than my older robot and already has quite a few marks from trading paint with my baseboards.

[Rewarded Review] Finally! A Robot That Is Helpful!

I have been using the new Shark Detect Pro for just over a week now and have found it to be a great tool for maintenance floor cleaning. Most of my home is hard wood except in the bedrooms which are carpeted. The main floor where the Shark is located is approximately 2200 sq ft. The unboxing and setup of the Shark is super quick and outside of placing the filter in the dock vacuum and pulling the various tape off the product it is a 5 minute job to be up and running.

[Rewarded Review] Taking the work out of chores

We’ve had a robot vacuum before but it wasn’t self-emptying. That wasn’t a big deal if you remembered to empty the vacuum when it was done. Plus the onboard hamper wasn’t big enough to tackle my floor with two dogs that shed like crazy.

I LOVE this vacuum. I am new to the robot vacuum territory and this Shark does not disappoint. Right out of the box it’s incredibly easy to set up and get going. It maps your space quickly so it knows where to clean. I love that you can adjust the space to prevent it from going to certain areas—for example I blocked out my computer desk area because there’s lots of cords, etc. It works so well and I love that you can control it via an app. I can be out shopping and decide to run the vacuum while I’m gone—just press the button on the app to clean and you’re good to go! You can come home to a well vacuumed house, because this thing WORKS. I have a dog and a kid, and it picks up all matters of things with ease. Also, the fact that it empties itself is incredible. It has a huge reservoir in the base that holds 2 months worth of vacuuming, and there is no special bag or anything to buy. Just dump it and that’s it! I have a Shark stick vacuum that I’ve loved for about 7 years and this is a wonderful addition. I would absolutely recommend this vacuum.

[Rewarded Review] Obsessed

When you have 1 German Shepherd/Husky, 2 cats and 2 kids, to say the floors in your house are always dirty is an understatement. I had to take time everyday to vacuum and/or mop and it because a chore I didn’t look forward to.

[Rewarded Review] My new favorite assistant - Gets the things you only think you’re cleaning and more!

I had some trepidation based on my experience years ago with the other popular robot vacuum brand. However Shark has appliances that are reasonable dupes for pricier options. I personally own their cordless vac which was an upgrade from a corded compact vac by Shark that served me well for many years. I live in a 1,300 square-foot with a weird layout. However based on my experience with 2 different model robots from that other brand which quickly gathered dust or needed maintenance and frankly stopped doing even a decent job- my expectations for Shark’s Detect Pro vacuum were very low— I didn’t feel my experience with other market robots was faster or more effective than simply dragging out my manual Swiffer or stick vac infact my past robot became more inconvenient than helpful. But time has passed, both for me, vacuums & Shark. Now that I live in a house with different types of flooring & obstacles I have to say I see the Shark Detect Pro becoming one of my most reliable cleaning companions if it performs successfully so I put it to the test.

The Shark Detect Pro robot vacuum has 3 level of cleaning technologies that enable the robot to maximize performance by sensing mess level, floor type, and edges corners. It was move comfortably on carpet as well as on hardwood floor. It direct detects technology sees hidden dirt and increases suction as needed. Loaded with NeverStuck technology™, this robot will navigate around obstacles and lift slightly up when climb on carpet. It performs the cleaning as well as completely self-guided. You can leave it running when leaving home and it would complete the job without getting stuck somewhere on carpet or under table etc. After cleaning is done and it is sent dock, Detect Pro would self-clean immediately to bagless container. It is easy to clean and could be washed also if needed. It comes with odor neutralizer which traps the odor inside the box. Bagless container is quite big, and it does not need to be cleaned after every cleaning. It can hold up to 15-17 cleaning cycle of dirt and dust. It is completely self-clean which moment it goes to deck, it cleans itself out. No need to do anything. It has side brushes that takes out the dirt out from tiniest area and picked up by shark detect pro. It can control with the app too. App offers to add rooms and you can select which room you want to do the cleaning. You can start the cleaning and send it to base for charging while you are sitting on your chair with your phone. It has been the best robot vacuum cleaner that I have used in past 2 years.
