[Rewarded Review] Nice mop and vac that really cleans

So far my experience with the Shark Robot Vacuum and Mop has been great. I have used a few different brands of vacuums and mops, and the Shark one is probably tied for the best so far. It does an excellent job cleaning while not running over toys, and the mopping is impressive. I have it set on a schedule to clean one floor, and I have two small children so as you can imagine there is a lot of stuff left out. So far it has managed to avoid those things and clean where it can. I do wish that the app did tell you where it found things, as right now you can only see where it did not get to clean.

[Rewarded Review] Great Vacuum; Good Mop

We have owned several robot vacuums but this our first Shark branded device. Once it arrived It was simple to unpack and setup, and more specifically the self mapping function worked quite well. We placed the base in an out of the way corner in our main living space and let it go to work. At first we just used the vacuum function…and we were quite impressed. I would say that the Shark performed as good if not better then our previous robot vacuums (and for the record our previous vacuum was the competitor’s top of the line model costing far more than the Shark).

I know that we are in the midst of a technological renaissance, but it's still amazing to see how far we have come with things like this. It has been many years since i got my first robot vaccum, and it was a bit rough. It ran things over it shouldn't have, died in the middle of rooms, didn't clean well, and even flipped itself over a time or two. This 2 in 1 from Shark is leaps and bounds ahead of that old clunker i still have lingering in the attic somewhere. It cleans fantastically, the wheels are all terrain level, and it even cleans itself! Not only all that, but it is attached to an app (isn't everything nowadays?). You can give it your robot a cute name (such as Sharky McMopper), set up a schedule, check your battery and numerous other things. The dock is relatively compact for what it is, and the water tanks are decently sized. I do wish there was an optional feature for auto top off and auto drain like I use for my aquariums and a couple other devices where water refilling is frequently needed. I know this wouldn't be a feature everyone would want, but the option with hook ups would at least be a good option. Then it could truly be a set and forget device in a laundry room or kitchen, or somewhere near a water source and drain. Maybe a similar auto fill tank for the detergent to what washing machines have now that can hold several loads worth before needing a refill. All that said, the robot works great. It has a substantial battery life, it cleans well, and it programs itself nicely. It is a bit on the pricey end, but most tech is these days. I will say, Dr Sadsuck will stay confined to the attic indefinitely now, there's a new Shark in town!

[Rewarded Review] Great Robot Vacuum, Just OK Mop

The new Shark Vacuum and Mop PowerDetect NeverTouch Pro is a nice step up from my previous PowerDetect Vacuum only, but not for the reason you might think. The new Pro does indeed offer a full 2-in-1 vacuum and mopping experience, but feel only the vacuum part is truly excellent. The biggest advantage the new Pro has is that when vacuuming it doesn't get stuck on my furniture. This was the biggest issue I ran into with my previous model and I would always have to section off areas on the map just to avoid the issues. The new Pro gets around everything much better due to the ability to raise itself if it gets stuck. A seemingly small improvement, but a very big one in practice. Once the machine mapped my house and I let it roam free to vacuum it did a fantastic job taking care of itself. It emptied itself and would return home when the battery was low. I never once had to hunt for it or carry it back to the home base. Fantastic job Shark!

[Rewarded Review] 30/60 days? Really?

So, like most things, results may vary. This robot vacuum claims up to 30 days on refill/empty and 60 days on capacity, but that is completely dependent on the size of the rooms and how much activity is in those areas. If you have like 250 sq feet and only part of it is hard floor and you left the house for 30 days, it would almost certainly be able to keep the dust from accumulating on the floor in that area. But, an active area, with pets, kids and several hundred square feet, you might get 2 weeks out of it.

[Rewarded Review] Very Good, Minor Annoyances But Helpful!

I had the SharkMatrix robot system with mop accessory. It was awful and scratched my base boards because it couldn’t always tell it was near an obstacle.

This is the most amazing automated cleaning solution I have ever tested out. It can run multiple surfaces completely hands off with very minimal upkeep needed.

[Rewarded Review] The smartest, best Shark Robot yet

If you are looking to get one step closer to having your floors always clean without having to do much work yourself, then be sure to check out this Shark PowerDetect Robot. It is advertised to be able to mop your floors for up to 30 days and 60 days for vacuuming with its self-emptying, cleaning, and drying functions. I have been using this nearly every day for about a week and I do believe this claim to be not very accurate based on my estimated usage so far. I have cleaned out the dirty water bucket once already and I am getting close to having to fill up the clean water container, so I would say two weeks is more realistic (depending on your usage of course) My hard wood floors have never been cleaner than they have been this past week. Jarold Jr. is his name, and he is replacing a slightly older model that did not have the PowerDetect feature, nor the self-cleaning ability. The additional ability to clean its own mop pad is an absolute game changer. That was my biggest complaint about the older model was having to clean the mop pad and refill the tank after every use, and if I didn’t clean it right away, it would be harder to clean the mop pad. This solves both of those problems. I just fill up the large water tank, add 12 oz. of the included solution, and off it goes. This little guy is pretty smart as well, it will lift itself up to raise up the mop pad (in mopping mode) if it detects carpet. The previous model I had to set up no-go zones and for most that would work, but I have an area rug that manages to get moved around by my kids all the time, so I was not able to rely on the no-go zones, but this doesn’t need that anymore, it just detects the carpet and lifts up its little rear end. It’s fun to watch. It also does this same thing over my air registers (vents) that are on the floor.

[Rewarded Review] Works well, but the software is the weak point

I’m a big fan of Shark/Ninja products; I own quite a few both as review units and as purchases. I have a 10-year-old plus Shark regular vacuum that I still bring out for manual jobs, and it still works great. I own a few Ninja kitchen products that I use almost every day, I love them so much. But I found the Shark - PowerDetect NeverTouch Pro to be a bit of a disappointment, at least in the limited time I’ve had to work with it. It's not that the NeverTouch doesn’t have some incredible features; it definitely does. It’s just that the actual implementation of some of those features either don’t deliver on the promise or fall short.

[Rewarded Review] A robot that cleans up after itself, true autonomy

I've always liked the idea of robots doing your chores like in the sci-fi movies. Robotic vacuum cleaners try to deliver on that idea, lately just missing the mark. Robotic vacuums I've gotten in the past few years have been progressively better at doing their task, be it vacuuming or mopping. The constant issue is to clean up the robot, like changing a diaper, emptying the bin or cleaning and drying the mop pad. It's a tediousness that prevents me from wanting to use them with any degree of normalcy.

[Rewarded Review] Built Well, BUT Very QUIRKY. Software NEEDS Work!

Shark Has Jumped the Shark a little with this one! There is So Much POTENTIAL Here With This Unit. SHARK I HOPE YOU ARE LISTENING!!! I have a couple Shark Items and overall, I have been VERY pleased with them! I have also wanted a robot vac for a LONG time so when this came up for testing and review I was SUPER Happy to get the opportunity to to get my hands on it AND it seemed a kismet and logical fit for me based on my other Shark Stuff that I’ve been happy with. I was waiting for its arrival like a kid waiting on xmas morning….so excited! It came SUPER Well packaged and protected. Shark always does a great job with packaging. BUT there was only a quick start guide and no owner’s manual. Following QR codes takes you to online “support” to learn about the unit but I found this to be rather tedious and also, some of the info I was looking for I still cannot find. For a product at this price point, I feel that a physical, well laid out owner’s manual SHOULD BE INCLUDED! For instance, I still do not know how to empty the water out of the robot’s tank manually….like if I wanted to refresh the water or use a different mop water mix than what is already in it. I still am unsure if it is OK to use other floor cleaners in the unit like PineSol, Fabuloso, Mr. Clean etc. and it took me a day and half to figure out how to take out the dry debris bin AND How To Empty IT! It was magic until I found out where all the dry debris from vacuuming went. I have No Idea what any of the LED colors mean when they change on the RV and I had to watch the unit to see what the LED Colors on the Base mean. None of this info is part of the quick start guide and Shark just left me hanging to figure it out on my own. Not really happy with that “experience” at this price level!

[Rewarded Review] Shark got them a winner on this one

more and more vacuum company is definitely leaning toward having an AI robot vacuum to clean your space not only that of of them doesn’t just vacuum it also mops, there’s tons out there with that feature and honestly it helps a lot considering sometimes you drip sometimes that just sticks to the ground having a simple vacuum mop does help a bit, i’d rather have a robot vacuum do it for me rather than me not being aware at all. and here we got shark latest power detect 2 in 1 never touch pro vacuum. yeah that’s one long name for a vacuum.

[Rewarded Review] Great set-and-forget option

The NeverTouch Pro is very much a vacuum built for the gadget lovers among us. This highly capable floor cleaner tries to address a host of minor complaints with elaborate engineering solutions which, for the most part, work in its favor. But it does come with a few tradeoffs and absent features that might prove to be dealbreakers for those looking for more precise control over their cleaning regimen.

[Rewarded Review] Robot Vacuum with Less Hands-On Maintenance

The Shark PowerDetect NeverTouch Pro is an advancement in Robot cleaning technology. As a note, I have a few dogs that shed for no apparent reason and are generally not worried about cleanliness. So, my floors by the end of the day have hair, dander, and dust. With the PowerDetect NeverTouch Pro it tackles these messes with no problem. This Robot does both vacuum and mop and is a godsend if you are not mopping regularly. I have had a self-emptying Shark robot before this, and it requires daily emptying of the dustbin because of the amount of dog hair it picks up. However, this model has a very large bin that is advertised as an up-to 60-day bin before needing a clean. I find with my large dog, I can wait a few days before I go clean out the bin. And when I clean out the dust bin, I am impressed by how much hair and dust it collects. Now I was always hesitating to use the mop features of previous robot vacuums because of how much effort is needed to set up and clean the robot after every mopping session. This model is cleverly designed and requires very little pre/post mopping maintenance. Essentially you fill up a clean water bin with filtered water and the Shark solution, ensure the mopping pad is on, and just hit go on the app. The Robot vacuum will automatically fill up the water bin on the robot, go vacuum then mop in one pass. Once it is done, it heads back to the dock to self-clean the mopping pad and drain the dirty water into a separate grey water bin on the base. Your task afterwards is to dump the dirty water bin and give it a rinse. Even though it says it can hold 30 days of dirty water, I tried 2 days before cleaning and noticed the water began to stink. I would do a daily dump and rinse of the grey water bin to ensure the dirty water smell doesn’t penetrate the rubber and plastic parts of the water bin. But this is much easier than constantly changing the clean and dirty water on the robot like older models. In addition, a new quality of life upgrade to the app is that it will now show you where in your map the robot is and what direction it is facing. It’s fun to be able to see where the robot is on your map. Setup of the robot is very easy also. When you fire up the app, it guides you through connecting your robot to the internet and how to set your robot to do a mapping run. After it maps out your floors, you can specify the rooms and where you want the robot to go and not go. After this setup, you just hit go and it does its job. I am very impressed at how Shark has advanced the Robot vacuum game to eliminate the constant maintenance that used to be required to keep the robot in tip top shape. With the clever self-filling, self-draining, self-cleaning of the robot, I am sure that this robot will be running every day in my house.

[Rewarded Review] Some Great Features but Needs Improvements

I’ve had various robot vacuums over the years, but this is my first experience with a Shark robot vacuum. Given Shark’s reputation for making excellent vacuums and cleaners, I had high expectations for the Shark PowerDetect NeverTouch Pro. Unfortunately, my experience has been quite disappointing so far.

[Rewarded Review] Set it and forget it, enjoy clean floors

I am so impressed with the total package that is this new Shark PowerDetect NeverTouch Pro robot vacuum. I have a small collection of shark robot vacuums now since I live in a split-level home and unfortunately these robots cannot climb stairs. So, that means one robot per level. It does give me a lot of frames of reference for comparing them which is only fair since they are all from the same brand. They share a lot of common things such as a few interchangeable parts here and there, similar behaviors, and all use the same app for functionality. All of that makes setting up and using this new model a familiar and easy process, using the app to get it connected to Wi-Fi, waiting for it to charge enough to explore and create a map, label your rooms and tell it where not to go, and finally getting started. Watching it run I can see where the improvements have been made as well as where things have been kept the same for better or worse. I never like the process of having to prep and attach the mop for my other older robot to be able to mop my floor, which has always caused me to never actually do so. That is the biggest change in the NeverTouch Pro, and something that is game changing for me.

[Rewarded Review] The Shark PowerDetect Pro Robot Is Awesome

Received my Shark PowerDetect NeverTouch Pro robotic vacuum and was anxious to try it out as I already own 3 others but different brands. It was packed nicely and included was an extra side brush (this only uses one), a second mop pad, Odor Cartridge and Shark Multi-Surface cleaner in a 12 oz. bottle. There was the base unit, a ramp and of course the robot.

[Rewarded Review] One of the best for the price

For all the robot vacuums I have used in the past decade, this has been the best so far. As a main floor vacuum with carpet, hardwood floors, and a maze of tables and chairs, this vacuum handles it all with no trouble. One of the best features is it's auto empty and pad washing, but it does not require extra proprietary bags to use it.
