Box is a little banged up and the package wasn’t bubble wrapped for something quite pricey and fragile. Parcels are thrown around all the time and this was only protected with the cardboard holder in the box itself so bubble wrap is a no-brainer.. I just hope its integrity isn’t compromised.

I wanted to like it

It did everything I wanted it to, but there were some things that really left me scratching my head.

I have bought many items through Seattle Coffee Gear over the years and have always gotten terrific products. However, this product doesn't measure up, pun intended or not. I cannot get an accurate weight of what I hope will be coffee enough for a double shot. I can weigh an approximate amount 3, 4 or more times and get a widely divergent weight each and every time. I've gone back to eyeballing the beans and hoping for the best. Had I not mistakenly discarded the packing inside the scale's box I would have returned the product.

Great dripper

Love this item, it makes it so much easier to make a good pourover by taking out the guess work for those who don't have access to a gooseneck kettle. The gripper also makes the brewing process easy and repeatable as well even if you do have a gooseneck kettle. Highly recommended

Hario is a reliable product. There’s about a .2g discrepancy from the actual weight of the block. However it’s too minute to matter. And for the price of .1-.2g accuracy, you can’t beat the price. Thank you seller!

It Works but...

The buttons are horrendous. They are absolutely poorly designed. It takes practice to use them and even with familiarity they are not consistent. Be sure to shut down the timer or it will not shut itself down thus draining the battery quickly. Good luck shutting it off as it requires the use of the terribly difficult buttons. This thing literally brings stress to what should be a peaceful morning moment.

You get what you pay for

Great value, just wish it had real buttons that click. Sometimes I push the Tare button and nothing happens. Other times when I go to zero out the scale and weigh my coffee, it goes back to not being zeroed out. Other than that, it's very accurate at a great price point.

Getting started with manual brewing

Not impressed.

The size is great. The scale has an issue at times keeping itself zeroed. Very frustrating when you are wanting to pull a shot in the zone! I don’t mind paying up, however I expect it work well every time. It dose not.

The Beauty of Simplicity

Of all the coffee scales out there, I went with the Hario V60 coffee scale because it's simple. When I'm brewing coffee in the morning, I wanted my scale to match the experience and the Hario V60 delivers. I didn't want using a coffee scale to feel like I was using a complicated computer with a million buttons, etc. The Hario V60 gives me exactly what I want -- accurate weight to .1 grams, timer, easy to read display -- and nothing more, which is perfect. I even enjoy that it doesn't have a charging port and simply runs on batteries. The size is perfect and it even fits nicely in a kitchen drawer.

The product is exactly as ordered. the cheapest in the app shipped from Japan takes about 1 week. good quality products. pack the bag with a box. no cushioning inside the product. The dust is quite good, but wipe it out. Overall, worth the price.

Hair Drip Scales

As this was a gift for someone else, I can only relay the delight of the recipient, my son, when he opened his present. And he was even more impressed when he discovered that the scales were to be calibrated for the geographic region for accuracy! He’s happy!

Hario V60 Drip Scale and Timer - Matte Pink

I’m going to be honest- was looking for a good quality scale, and the color immediately sold me! All the accents in my kitchen are either a soft pink or gold. Absolutely love that I did not have to settle for either a black or white Hario scale🙂

Changing my review from 1 * to 4. Had an issue with the product. Hario products are usually very reliable. But upon testing the scale I received, despite programming it to G-5, the scale wasn’t functioning accurately. I had a discussion with Barista Essentials and sent multiple videos showing the defect. In fairness to them, they were quick to give a refund, but we had a difference in opinion and agreed to disagree. In their test, it worked well, but with mine, it didn’t. Check my video 2 see.

Reliable minimalist scale!

Love the look of this beautiful scale on my brew corner and also stores perfectly in the drawer of my ikea kitchen bench. Does what it is promises it would do so can't complain. This handy device has allowed me (a breastfeeding mum) to dose my coffee perfectly so as not to accidentally have too much caffeine in one day. Thank you Hario and AB.

These are the best coffee scales, although they certainly aren't the cheapest.

It’s okay

I like that the scale is compact and has an integrated timer. However! Often, the buttons stick and it’s annoying to have to press a button multiple times to get the timer to work or zero out the scale. There’s also no ‘beep’ or noise indication that you clicked the button so I end up pushing it over and over in my sleep-daze of pre-coffee morning.

Accuracy:Really impressed! Allows setting of region. Different countries have different gravitational pull.
