Product arrived, After significant damage in Shipment w/ Contract Shipping Co for Home Depot. Re-ordered, and quite a bit of confusion on Delivery Date to Store in Rockwall. Picked up Cooler and is Working Great; Very Good product thus far after about a month.

This is a great fridge. We use it for all beverages and not just wine.

Don't believe the capacity

I bought a similar "100" bottle Whytner cooler at Home Depot a few months ago. Cannot find it on the website now so this is the closest one. Research prepared me for about 80 bottles but the best I could do was 67. I wrote them and got a polite reply that it depended on bottle shape and size, bla-bla-bla. Simply put here is no way that a normal mix of 75 bottles will fit. It works fine but I would not buy it again. Also the delivery person refused to bring it into my house, which I have never experienced before.

We have 4 of these units. They are in our living area and are very quiet.

So far the wine refrigerator is working well. It could use a few more shelves

Didn’t know that we needed 4” space between the wall and refrigerator, so we couldn’t put it where we wanted it.

The item came dented midway on the rear right corner. Right front plastic footing cracked. Door is hung crooked. Since the external box did not show signs of damage or denting in the right rear corner, one must assume that manufacturing Quality Control approved it for release. When turned on, the unit did hold set temperature for 30 mins (I then turned it off as it is not being used at the moment). The longevity of this product is of question. Quality Control is poor. I would not order this product again.

Recommend additional shelves. Unit has been working well. Temps varies by 2 degrees which is good. In regards to shelving, you are suppose to be able to stack bottles on a single shelf. I found this difficult to do. To do this you would need exactly the same size bottle and even then the weight of the bottles are going to spread the bottles up against the sides which make it difficult to pull out the shelf. Note that the shelving only pulls out half way. I did buy additional shelving and it works well. I can fit Pinot Noir bottles in single layers with all the shelves in. Note, that Whynter sells another wine cooler with bottles in single layer per shelf. That Cooler has a stainless steel door.

Gets the job done - this is a great solution if you are looking to store wines in bulk. It is not designed for those looking to use every day as the shelves do not pull out and there are only 4-5 shelves. Having said all that this is my second unit, I’ve had the first one for over 2 years and it works very well for what I use it for - long term wine storage. When you need to access a specific bottle you will need to know where it is and be prepared to take some to access it.

Works great. Always buy more capacity than you think you need.
