Feels quite durable, but a word of caution: this chair is for short fat people. If youre tall & fat (over about 6'2) you may find the seat length to be quite short, and it will cut your thighs in half, making for a pretty uncomfortable sitting experience. Other than that, the backrest feels sturdy, and the whole chair does feel steady and unflimsy when sitting. It would be perfect for a shorter heavy person.

Broken with less than a dozen uses

I bought 2 of these chairs 2 years ago. I'm about 260 lbs and never had much luck with folding chairs. These are no better. I used them about half a dozen times the year I bought them. I got them out for the first time this year and set them up, and one leg was completely broken making the chair unusable.
