I got this to use for my umbrella in my patio dining table and it's been great so far. its sturdy enough to keep the umbrella in place (through the table) and has survived high winds with no problem. I also like that its not super bulky but still sturdy

Good sturdy base

Good and sturdy base. It's quite heavy so I have no concerns that it would tip over. It has held my umbrella nicely and we have not had any issues with wind.

The TropiShade 36 lb Black Square Steel Plate Umbrella Base does everything you would expect. We've had it for a while now and there are no signs of rust.

I bought this 8 years ago for a windy area and it’s held up. I’ve used multiple styles of umbrellas in it and it’s been great. I like the wheels to help me move it around as because it’s so heavy.

I purchased this one to replace our old one that was allowing our umbrella to tip over in heavier winds. The flat base on this one seems to have solved the issue.

Solid, Simple and modern. Perfect for a sleek and uncluttered look. I'm using it to sustain the Saphavieh 11" umbrella.

It’s quite a sturdy and heavy base that does not need water or sand to be filled in. Looks simple, was easy to put together. Works well for the purpose.

This umbrella base works great on my deck. It is heavy enough to keep from moving around. But one of my favorite parts and the reason I purchased it, is that it is low profile. There are little plastic feet on the underside, but even with them, the base itself is less than an inch off the ground. The feet can be removed as well, and the base could also be secured if desired. (I haven't done this yet but am thinking about it) This looks and feels high quality to me, and I am very happy with my purchase.

Well made and solid. Easy to put together and I appreciated that it is a low profile piece that doesn't take up significant space. May replace other bases with this one!

Good weight to it so it won't fly away and doesn't need to be filled with sand or water. Fits most umbrellas and has a nice shiny black color.

Modern and a great value

modern black semi-heavy base purchased for my Safavieh Vienna umbrella. On super windy days the umbrella has blown over. I placed it between two chaise lounges to hold it down.

Nice, modern/minimal design, low profile base

Nice, modern/minimal design, low profile base. Holding a through-the-table umbrella, quite solidly, on our back patio without issue for this past summer. We weren't looking for anything fancy, but wanted something heavier that didn't require filling with water or sand. I believe it was a bit pricier than some options, and honestly, probably heavier than we really needed, but didn't mind spending the extra as it should be a one time purchase.
