Don't waste your money

Bought this two years ago to use at my computer. I replaced the original poor quality wheels within two weeks with better quality. Upholstery delaminated within six months. Seat back now broken from normal wear-tear.

Impossible to Assemble

I just bought the chair, and even tho I've assembled several similar chairs in the past, this one seems impossible to do. Obviously others have done so, but I can't figure out how to get the back to attach to the armrests. Of course the manufacturer doesn't provide any support, nor is there a video for this chair on YouTube. Good luck.

Its OK.

We have three varieties of this chair. Two of them have basically failed - the part that meets the lift cylinder bends or wears out and the chair leans or tips around. We've also had two had the leather delaminate and flake off. The arms are also flimsy and dont stay on and have to be tightened often.

Awful, fake leather, uncomfortable

Bottom of seat clearly states that this is a mix of FAKE leather and polyester. It's extremely hard and uncomfortable. Does not tilt more than a half an inch so forget about stretching out. Oh and the base is 100% plastic. I returned that chair as soon as I sat down.

Good but delaminated

I've had this chair for a few years. It's comfortable and looks great. However the seat covering (brown leather grain finish) delaminated from the seat area. I suppose the stressed parts. Customer service said it was out of warranty. Oh well, I wish it lasted longer. I would buy another but I'm waiting for anther sale. I think I paid about $160 before.

Uncomfortable, not an upgrade for the money.

My husband thought he was buying me a comfortable office chair & sadly, this chair pushes you right out of it with its over the top, non adjustable, lumbar support. You can not recline back to even release some of the tension to the back it causes. Seat padding also lacking. I can not recommend.

Very Comfortable

My previous same model chair received as a gift already assembled lasted 32 years. One roller broke off. I tried a different roller chair at half the price but with half the comfort. So I did spend twice as much, but since my job requires sitting tall for hours, I needed something with more padding on all sides. The lumbar support helps my posture tremendously. The brown leather-type looks rich enough, soft. Directions were good, even though I did have some frustration assembling the back to the arms.

NICE CHAIR BUT HOT

I've had this chair for a couple months. The first thing I noticed about it was the seat is not as wide as my previous chair. The arm rests are close. My previous chair wasn't as nice as this chair but it lasted a very long time. I'm hoping for the same use from this chair. Pros: The cushions are very comfortable. The Lombar adjustment is nice.

Just as low quality as the cheap chairs.

Had it for a couple of years and while it was nice-looking and comfy at the beginning, it started peeling a few months in and now it looks horrible. The cushion sank badly, it recently started ripping on the side and I can see some metal components in there! My kids call it the musical chair because when you sit on it, it squeaks & creaks. I'll get a cheap chair because they are all the same bad quality at the end.

Doesn't last

I bought this chair just under 2 years ago. To be one of the more expensive chairs that I looked at, I paid the higher price because I wanted something that would last. After about a year, the "leather" started peeling off the arms and the seat developed a split in the material. Friday, I was sitting in the chair working and fell backward. The bolt that holds the arm which connects the seat and the back sheared right off sending me reeling. I am very disappointed in this chair and how it hasn't lasted near long enough for the price. The $99 chairs have lasted much longer.

Good For Almost 3 Years

Purchased 3 years ago. So here's my experience. Chair is very comfortable and all mechanical items are still functioning. The issue you will have is the material they used to cover the chair. It's not Leather, it's a combo of vinyl and Bonded Leather. The first to go at 2 years was the vinyl sides of the arm rests. Vinyl started to crack and fall off. Just shy of 3 years, the headrest and seat are wearing out. The Bonded Leather is paper thin and doesn't hold up well. To be fair, I work from home, so I use this chair at least 5 days a week for 10 hours a day.

Not what it says it is

I ordered the chair because it said it was leather and there was no mention of PU or bonded in any of the text online. When I got the chair and assembled it, I could see it wasn't leather. An extensive search on the manufacturer's web site revealed it was bonded leather, not leather. I have previously had two bonded leather chairs - they only lasted about 2 years. I have a leather chair now that I have had for over 10 years. I immediately returned the chair to Sam's for a refund. Bonded leather is not leather. It's ground up leather scraps that is mixed with urethane and spread over a fabric sheet. After about two years it cracks and peels.

It's just okay

Chair is fine, but despite claims, it does not have sufficient padding in my opinion. Seat cusion is also too short for anyone even approaching six feet tall. Backrest is only shoulder-high, so despite how it looks, what appears as a head rest is really at shoulder height for me. The chair is also relatively narrow. Yes, dimensions are listed, but the chair I was replacing matched the dimensions and yet there was a significant difference in the two chairs' sizes. I am at a total loss of how the dimensions are obtained.

High end quality for a reasonable price

I’m a heavy set guy and I needed a chair that could handle not only my weight but also my size. I’ve had this chair for six months. I use it at least five hours a day and the chair is as good as new. The arms have a decent distance from one another so I’m comfortable and they are not pressing on my hips like with cheaper chairs. The leather has not peeled off or broken apart either. There in a knob that controls lumbar support and you can graduate to your liking. Easy assemble too. Worth every penny.

Not as advertised.

I have tried multiple different chairs over the past few weeks looking for one I liked. I received this one and was surprised when the instructions, packaging, and screws all matched the previous chair I bought previously from a different company.

Not very well made.

This may have been an ok chair for a tall person, but even at it's lowest setting, my feet did not comfortably reach the floor. It tilts backwards, and it was crooked, tilting to the right. All of this made it very uncomfortable to sit in, causing my already problem back, hips and legs to ache and swell. The much taller husband also found it very uncomfortable. We used the legs and mechanism from the old chair that had lasted me many years, and it's tolerable now, as it's no longer tilted in any direction. The leather is very soft, and that's about the nicest thing I can say about it.

It's a chair

Trying to find a chair for folks at or below 5 foot is seldom easy. Worse when you live in the middle of nowhere and corporate feels no need to send in new equipment, for any store for that matter. Brand new here is at the very least 3 years old. We have to buy online. You can not sit; online. We have to go by what reviews and manufacturer and seller tell us. It was a chance but not horribly expensive... The sellers never did answer their phone after my wife called them every day , multiple times over 2 weeks. I had to go in and make some mods to attach so that the chair was usable. NOW a small person can use it.

Not bad, needs redesign though

I had high hopes for this chair based on the reviews, but it was disappointing for me. The chair seems generally well made, although the fit and finish on the base is poor, the rest of the chair is pretty well made. The seat portion of the chair is very comfortable, but the design of the seat back, due to the angle of it, is poor - I found it to canted to the back for proper support while using a computer and typing all day long, so it caused me mid and upper back strain in very short order.
