It was a bit tough to put together. I am pretty handy with things. It's definitely not just snap together easy, but it's not bad. I recommend having a scrap piece of wood and a rubber mallet. You can get the legs started, put the wood on, and whack it home. Once it's all together stand it up and do that in each corner to make sure they are all fully seated. No need to add screws or anything to keep it held together, not for me at least. Rolls easily, holds quite a bit of weight on the cart. I was using it to hold some 18" pipe wrenches and a lot of iron fittins for gas line I was installing in my home. Held up to that without a problem. Wouldn't hesitate to use it while I'm working on my cars (short of putting a transmission or engine on it).

I was looking for a cart for two reasons. One to use when I am working on projects outside of my garage to haul my tools and supplies and two, to use to transport food out to our finished garage where we hold large family gatherings. I looked at a lot of carts and this one had everything I was looking for plus the price was one of the lowest. Assembly was very easy. The only tool needed was a rubber mallet. Once assembled and set up I was delighted. Since all 4 wheels swivel it is a dream to move. The wheels are very sturdy and 2 of them lock for sloped surfaces. It was such a hit that I end up loosing it to my boyfriend for his projects. Needless to say I bought another one as a gift for him for Christmas.

When I opened the box I noticed the middle shelf was broken around the corners, which are going the be the areas under the most stress. I wasn't about to ship this thing back - I'll be using this cart for light duty garage stuff, so I'm not too concerned about it's load-bearing capacity. Assembly was pretty simple but requires a rubber mallet - I thought I could get away without it until I got to the casters, which were a pretty tight fit. The cart is made out of that same tough black plastic with the striations I've seen in similar carts. All in all I'm impressed with the cart especially considering the price, but I might look elsewhere if I were going to use this cart for heavier duty work.

This is the second set (I purchased two) to be used for a church food pantry. This black model comes with four caster wheels. The previous set with blue plastic had one set of castors and a set on non caster wheels. Regardless, the wheels are sturdy and will hold a cart full of canned food. With both sets the legs do assemble very easy but will easily pull apart if you need to lift the cart. The easy fix is #6 1/2 sheet metal screws. Self drilling screws make for easy work but regular sheet metal screws will work. Having a cordless drill is a big help.
