Can't have too many kitchen tools! I like this high heat nylon slotted spoon because it's plastic and can be used without scratching my coated pans but also drains off any liquid not wanted.

Vollrath Slotted Spoon. High heat resistant. Works great. Not super heavy duty. Medium duty. I have broken these before trying to spoon out heavy stuff or stuff that gives good resistance, like sticky rice. But for the price, these work great.

I have use this for frying, cooking pasta what ever you need or could used a slotted spoons for this will do the job you need it for and I have to say that I will buy this again
