This light is beautiful. It is large so it looks substantial and terrific mounted over my garage doors on the gable side of the roof. However, the only thing holding it onto the garage wall is the ceramic lighting fixture itself. It has such a large wind profile that I don't think this is going to be adequate to keep it from getting ruined in a heavy wind. Will try to devise a new mounting plan that does not rely on a ceramic piece, but haven't figured that out yet. If it is mounted in a sheltered area, it will probably be fine. 5 stars for aesthetics, it is beautiful. Got oohs and ahhs from visitors. 2 stars for sturdiness. If it lasts for longer than a few months, I will rewrite this review.

love the old barn house look

LOVE this light fixture!! So much so I still put it up even though it was very.big!! But I didn't care!!!! It's stunning and a focal point on the outside of pur 100 year old home! Love that the inside of the light is white!! Makes it pop!!! Go for it! Measure !

[Rewarded Review] This is the Lowes Aiwen dusk to dawn light.

This is the Lowes Aiwen dusk to dawn light. It mounts to an outside wall. Model #JEW6492L. It's black and is 23.22 inches across and comes with necessary mounting hardware. I replaced an old ugly worn out motion light with it. The new light looks and works great. It turns itself on at dusk and off at dawn. Easy straightforward mounting. We love it!

[Rewarded Review] HUGE fixture, good quality, but limited places to install

Aiwen makes good fixtures but this one caught me by surprise because of how big this is for a gooseneck. I took a few photos compared to a typical gooseneck that I use. I've installed a good number of goose necks which are generally between 10 - 14 inches wide at the bell but this one is nearly 20 inches wide and only rated for 60 watt Medium based bulb. Its a good quality fixture but I feel this is limited on where it can be installed and still look good. Perhaps if you have a real barn this gooseneck would look good up high maybe 14-16 feet above finished grade. For this size I would recommend using a LED bulb equal to a 100W to 150W incandescent equivalent.

This is a very high quality light, I’m completely renovating my garage (new siding, gutters, and light fixtures) I wanted one large light to illuminate the front, this light is huge and the scale is perfect, it lights up the entire alley, my curb appeal has vastly improved and I feel more secure having more light in this area, the light fixture was easy to install and the instructions were clear
