Have had the latern for a few weeks. Latern is a good size and flame effect is a nice touch. The battery compartment on the bottom is clipped and also has a small screw to close it. This makes the compartment secure but a slight pain to change the battery. The handle comes off easily but can be be reinserted. The battery lasts quite a few nights on timer model. No signs of rust yet and it has gotten wet. I would buy it again.

Wasn’t sure what to expect but this is a great decorative lantern. Liked it so much, bought another one and have them on a bookcase in our living room. They add the perfect ambience!
