Nice to have this remote, especially for the short people in my home who have trouble turning on fans using the pull string. This was easy to install and its easy to use, and has been very helpful for operating my fan.

Helpful

I got this adapter for my ceiling fan because my old adapter broke. It was straight forward with the installation, although my instructions did not come in English. The controls are simple providing me with all the features I was missing.

Nice Feature

When I bought my fan, it didn’t have the remote feature. Adding this remote feature was a nice addition to having my fan. It wasn’t too hard to install, as long as you followed the directions and had the right tools.

Must have

This is must have for anyone that is vertically challenged like I am. I can now turn the fan off and on without a step ladder and help. It was easy to install and didn’t take that much time. It makes life easier

Finally

I have been needing something like this for years and I finally got it. I just be needing to turn my light on and off for different things here and there and not really needing to want to get out of the bed just to turn the light on, now I don’t have to! I’m so happy!

Works well

This kit works well to turn your standard, pull cord, ceiling fan into a remote control. You do have to go ahead and remove your ceiling fan to install this kit. We’re handy and so it wasn’t an issue, but keep that in mind if you are not.

Love to control fan with remote

This small wall mount unit was so easy to install. It takes up very little room. I love that all we have to do is reach for the remote and fan goes on or off. We haven’t had any issues with it. The remote will work with all fans which is nice in case we get a new fan installed.

Makes the fan even cooler

The instalation of the ceiling fan remote system is very easy and strait forward. It didn't take long before I didn't need to pull on the fan strings anymore. With the different capabilities I am able to change anything I want to from the comfort of my bed.

Love it

This makes things so much easier. I remote to turn it on and off, also to change the speed. When you are laying in bed and don’t want to get up, this is a gem. I highly recommend this for other adults.

Made well

I had to hire someone to install this but I like it. It gives me everything I need in one place. I would definitely recommend it to anyone with a ceiling fan. My Daughter wants one too, it's just the installation cost that they can't afford.

Clunky and hard to install

I found the remote hard to use and not very ok intuitive. Installing the radio into the base on the fan is not fun. There is no wiggle room to get all of the wires tucked in so that the base of the fan can be reattached.

Fabulous

Works great! This prominence home universal ceiling fan remote control kit with wall mount is a great addition to the ceiling fan and being able to use the remote control feature. It is a nice white so matches all.

Ceiling fan remote

Great remote control for my ceiling fan. Can turn on the light without turning on the fan, adjust fan speed, and easy to install. I have this in my living room and saves me from getting up while in the middle of watching tv to adjust the fan.

Easy install

Super easy install, my kid could of probably did it. Love it and the buttons are easy to press. No complaints. You need just a few tools, instructions were easy to follow, and no messy clean up since it pops right in

Took awhile to install correctly

Took longer than expected to get it installed correctly but once in it works great for controlling from the wall and not having to grab at chains above the table anymore. Highly recommend to streamline your home and make it easier to use.

Great Kit

This is a great kit! We got a ceiling fan that did not come with a remote and then wished we had one. So, we found this universal remote Kit. It was reasonably priced and easy to find. The instructions were easy to use and did not take us long to get it installed. It works well and we are glad we got it.

Super quick install and wonderful addition

Great add to any fan. The install was super easy, took longer to get to the wires than complete the install. Once done, we can control the fan remotely plain and simple! I would highly recommend this to anyone installing a fan that does not include one in the package.

Good remote

I'm very glad I bought this remote because now I can control all of my ceiling fans with one remote. It works very well. It was not that difficult to install and the benefits are definitely worth it. Awesome

good idea - not great execution

I just want to be able to lie in bed or sit down and be able to control my ceiling fan without having to get up. It might be a solution for someone more mechanically/electricallly inclined, but not me/ You have to take the fan down toinstall the controller and it was difficult for me, The directions are very clear and straightforward but disconncting and removing the fan was tough.
