This is quality material. It is firm, comfortable, lightweight, definitely gives the boost that I need to better see the hood of my car and lines on parking spots. I drive a 2017 Chevy Cruze; I am 5'1", I moved from a 05 Jeep Liberty which was tall and comfortable drive. I had to let go of it, and maybe it is just me but, even though I am satisfied with my new car, newer cars seem bulky, and seats are less comfortable for all the unnecessary (in some cases) seat contouring, and! There's less maneuvering ability to adjust seats for greater comfort. I bought this booster, great price range, below it has a grip like material that keeps ti from moving around. I admit that it does not fit exactly on my seat because like I mentioned, all the contouring. This little fella made a heck of a difference.

Slippery

Unfortunately, it slips all over the place. It is firm but could use some gripper power on the bottom to hold it in place. It's the same material top and bottom.
