My cat lives this condo

I have a cat who gets bulliedby two other cats so I put her in this when I leave and every night. No more stress incontinence from being bullied and she doesn’t seem to mind being in the crate. .

The front bar broke off when I was setting up

I am part of a rescue and we needed this for an adoption event. We were going to put 4 kittens in here and one of the bars with the latches broke off. It was crazy. The weldings are not great. We had to zip tie the doors closed.

Big enough for my very tall/long cats.

I absolutely love that this is so big (and sturdy when assembled) and yet will condense down to store away. Purrfect for my XL cats, they love spending time on the balcony in their new playpen.

Cat cage

The only complaint is that manufacturer needs to use longer screws. We had to search for our own.

Under evacuation order

While under evacuation from the Park Fire I had no safe place to put my 4 cats. At first I had to keep them in a couple of dog crates. Then I got 2 of the collapsible cat cages and the cats were safe and more relaxed. The cages are now part of my go/evacuation gear.

Big Nope

I bought 2 of the Frisco brand cat cages just like this and thought I was buying a third one and somehow got the Midwest brand cage.

Not for us

This items was hard to put together. The doors are difficult to work. The cage was bent and we were told to assemble it but it is difficult to put together I am sure it is the same taking apart.. too small flimsy trays for cage

Kittens love it

I'm bottle raising kittens and needed a bigger space to keep them safe while playing unattended and overnight. They were 4 weeks old when I first purchased this playpen and it works great. They aren't able to leap from shelf to shelf yet, so I added climbing items so the kittens could get up there. It would be nice if there were ladders. It would also be nice if instead of small shelves there were almost full sized pans to make 2 to 3 levels for them to use.

Great outdoor enclosure!!!

Great outdoor cage for our Bengal cat. She is very happy to watch the birds and chippies! Great option for her to enjoy outside when we are busy and can't leash walk her.

Crushed in transit

Cage quality is decent. Cage must have been crushed in transit as door hooks to secure doors are bent. My husband managed to fix three. One is beyond repair. Needed the cage to isolate a kitten from overseas or would have returned.

Disappointed

The item was as described however, the item was of low quality and the one I received had several defects. I needed to put kittens in a confined space therefore I elected not to send it back. I expected it to be heavy duty but it was flimsy and I secured it with zip ties to ensure it would not collapse on the kittens.

Wire cage

Cage is okay. Screws provided for attaching the wheels to cage were 1/8 inch too short. After spending a frustrating afternoon trying to make them work, I went to the hardware store to purchase the proper size screw. Would have returned cage but too much time was already invested.

Turn horizontally

I turn horizontally and put plexiglass where the bottom tray would go and use the tray on the horizontal bottom. Can keep a rescue cat happy & safe with all the comforts of a home until the cat acclimates to an indoor environment.

A really great product

I use this for my cats and previously for kittens that I used to foster. I leave the door open for my cats unless I have company. I have added 2 hammocks. They love the bed and hammocks. Having the litter box inside also limits the litter that gets on my

Not worth the money

I bought one of these last year and love it. I bought 3 more this year and they aren’t even made right anymore. The hooks to lock the door are on loose and backwards, the doors don’t lock. I just had a cat out today because the doors don’t lock. One came so damaged I returned it and only kept 2 because I was so disgusted as how horribly made they are now. If I wanted the work of taking them back down and hauling them to the store I would return them. I just don’t want the hassle, but I would never buy these again. Again, they don’t lock. I had a cat out this morning. They are made so bad now, which is disappointing because the one I got last year seems well made and I like it. The locks on it are tight and latch. These ones are so loose and just flop and even when you hook it on the door latch it is still just flopped, not holding the door locked at all.

Came already partially assembled

Clearly had been purchased and returned. Plastic ties were cut and just looped back around. When I tried to open it to assemble it, it didn’t look anything like the instructions. It looked like it had been partially assembled then returned. Something was clipped together and I couldn’t figure out how to open it. I’d had it delivered and it’s heavy so it was hard to get in the house. Was irritated to have to try to get it out to my car to return it. Fortunately someone at my local Walmart helped me get it back in the store to return it.

Midwest collapsible wire cat cage playpen

It's hard to find a cat kennel that's perfect for your needs. We modified the playpen with plywood going across the kennel so the two cats have room to share a bed and cut out a hole so they can get up and down. I have a diabetic cat, so this makes it easy to give him his injection. He can't get away and hide. This made my life easier. Also the playpen holds his weight this way. The build your own cat kennels did not work for me and did not hold his weight of 16 lbs. We are living in our motorhome right now, so the cats are not always free to run around. This kennel works for me and the cats.

the best cat 🐈 play pen around.

The item arrived when they said it would. It is heavy duty well made the locks actually lock unlike another product I bought. The landing shelves for the cats don't fall off when the cats jump on it. The cats cannot get out unless You don't lock it properly. Very roomy. Only complaint I have is there needs to be one more cat landing shelf to make it easier for the cats to get up and down, and the directions need a few more closer photos of how to unfold the whole cage when you get it out of the box. They were slightly lacking in words and photos in this part of the directions. Otherwise a great product.
