Mounting holes bad spacing
It would be really nice if they put the mounting holes on 16" centers. There were two sets of mounting holes and neither on 16" centers despite the instructions recommending screwing into a stud. Included anchors are too small if you're actually planning on hanging pans on it.
Looks nice
All in all, it is a nice pot rack. It looks pretty classy. This pot rack does have some design flaws that should have been taken into account during the planning stage. In normal construction, wall studs are 16 inches on center. That is where the mounting screw holes should be - at the very least on the top shelf where they are 10 inches apart (the bottom are 22 inches apart). Oh yes, they do include sheetrock anchors, but why not make it so they are not necessary or at least optional. I, personally, don't want to mount this to my sheetrock. The second problem is the mounting screws have such soft heads and shallow grips that they may strip out before you get them set. Granted, if you use the sheetrock anchors, you won't have that problem. You need a stubby screwdriver in order to fit between the shelf facing and the wall.
We'll see. Meh.
NOT easily assembled. PSA bars go on the outside, institutions unclear (stuck in ceiling fan). Has to use pliers to shape the bars to make them flush against the semi circles. P.I.T.A. Haven't hung it yet, as the hardware that came with is kinda junk, so once I do we'll see if it holds up. Decent looking.
Great Kitchen Space Saver
I live in a small studio (395sf) with a small kitchen small stove and small cabinets...small spaces basically. This kitchen rack is super and holds all my pots and pans that dont fit in the oven or anywhere else so this beautiful thing made me happy. It is sturdy and durable and you might need 2 people to hang it to make sure it doesnt lean crooked.
Space saver for a small kitchen
I have this hanging over the cart, and love it there. No one can bang their head on the pans, and it gets them out of a cabinet that I really needed to be able to use for other kitchen needs. This is a much more efficient way of storing them anyway. It is very sturdy and assembled easily. If you are not able to use studs, it comes with some very serious wall mollies.
Great Product
This is a great product that works wonderfully. Looks very good in our kitchen. Holds my whole new pot & skillet set with no problems, and they are heavy. Installation wasn't hard, as I expected after reading other reviews.
Looks good- not very sturdy
The unit is put together using screws that have a ball end on them. Consequently, it is difficult to tighten them completely without scratching them. The metal that the rack is made of is a little thin, so even when mounted securely to the wall, the unit sags a bit. The hardware that comes with it to mount the unit is not good- I used the supplied anchors, didn't trust them- and went to the hardware store to purchase better anchors. Save yourself some time, and get better anchors to start with-unless you are lucky enough to hit a stud where you actually want to mount the rack.

A small space must. Purchased the red color and it is a great pop in an otherwise neutral rental space! Holds a complete set of pots and pans except for the 6qt. Size. Top shelf is small but still useful. Utensils hang nicely. Easy to hang. Great space solution item!
Don't follow the instructions.
Assembly not difficult. The included drywall fasteners if used as directed just slide through the hole which is too big after using the drill bit they suggested. Just try to get the bottom right and upper left holes aligned with 16" spaced studs (or vice-versa bottom left and upper right - one of the two options should allow you to put two screws into the vertical studs). Then use moly bolts to secure the rack firmly through the remaining two holes. Don't use the drill bits suggested for either the stud or drywall installation. The drill bit for stud installation suggested is too small and the bit for drywall installation is too big.
Seems like a very good purchase....
My wife loves the appearance. We just purchased a new pots and pans set to hang on the rack and it really comes in handy. Takes much better care of the pans also. Measuring takes a knack though since you have to figure in the hanging distance of the lowest hanging pan so you're really working from the bottom up. Measure where the pan hangs(in our case we had a cart with a toaster and toaster oven to clear). I noticed some others had a problem with the access to the screws fastened to the wall. You can't really get any pressure with a stubby screwdriver in close. I was able to use a long screwdriver until about the last 2 inches then you have to go with a stubby. What I did was use a small ratchet with Phillips head screw attachment inserted in the socket. This allowed me to put more pressure on it and screw it all the way in. Seems quite sturdy and install time was an hour after the measurements were taken. I recommend this, it looks good and seems to be good quality.
Wall Pot Holder Rack
This product is the best solution to a small kitchen space limitations.
To paraphrase it: “slimy yet satisfying”
Assembly and Installation was a problem. I would not recommend it to somebody who is not handy at all. Couple of screw holes had to be re-threaded. If i did not have necessary tools I would be returning this shelf to the store. Also installation was a problem. The screw holes are located in such tight spots that you cannot get the screw driver in. I had to drill new holes closer to the center where there was some space to work with, but even that was not that simple because the back plate is not straight it is shaped (hm, how do I describe that?) well, like a very shallow "U", with sides sticking out maybe 1.9 of an inch. Something I did not see it on the picture they provide here on the site.
Great idea, not executed well.
Upon seeing this I thought it was a fantastic idea. I live in a studio apartment with my boyfriend who is an aspiring chef. With not a lot of room this seemed like it would work. So we watched the installation video that was a QR link on the box and that made it seem extremely easy and done in 5 minutes. So we proceeded to find studs and drill holes. But with the half moon shape there is absolutely no way to use the drill. (Unless your drill is half the size of a normal one). And the top of the screws woud strip if you were even trying to put them in manually. Once we got one screw in, and couldn't get the rest in. It took a hammer to get the one screw out of the wall! Waste of time and very frustrating. DONT buy unless you have a baby drill and stronger screws.
Great space saver!
This pot rack was exactly what my kitchen needed. My fiancé and I recently moved into an apartment with a smaller kitchen than we had previously. In order to save on space, we agreed on purchasing a pot rack. I searched several different company's websites and found very expensive products. Upon searching Walmart's website, we found this pot holder to be extremely attractive, the perfect size, not to mention the price - which is beyond reasonable. My only complaint is the hardware given (specifically the anchors). I had read previous reviews which everyone almost always said they were not durable enough to withstand the weight of several pots. So, we planned ahead and used better anchors (which I'm glad we did because the ones provided really are not that durable), and so far so good! No complaints at all! It looks great in our kitchen and saves a lot of space! We are thrilled with our purchase!
Perfect small pot rack except mounting hardware
Love this little rack! Kitchen in our new house is short on cupboard space so we have this rack mounted over an iron bookshelf. It's not super roomy but we had a small space to work with. It *just barely* holds the stock pot of our Cuisinart set in the lower shelf. We have the other pots and lids hanging below with enough room left over for a couple of collanders and a steamer basket. As others have noted, throw out the mounting hardware that comes with and use something sturdier. But for the price we were happy to dig into our stash of hardware. Basic, attractive, fits our space and our pot set.
So far so good - double check measurements
I have only had this up for a few days, and so far I think it's great. It looks nice, feels sturdy and the instructions are very clear and easy to follow. I also scanned the barcode on the box to watch the instructional video, which was great. One thing I will say is that after reading the dimensions online, I measured my space, and it was a perfect fit. However, I didn't account for the decorative screws - they made the width about 1"+ wider so now there is a screw on the bottom shelf that peeks out a bit from the wall. It still looks good, and I am not worried about it, but it's information I would've liked to have prior to purchasing.
sturdy, useful and very attractive
We've been meaning to get a pot rack for a long time, as both my husband and I have problems bending. Our landlord put this one up for us in about fifteen minutes. I've got 7 pots and pans hanging on it, along with corresponding lids - those that I use most often. They range in size from tiny fry pan to a 12 quart soup pot. My pots aren't pretty - I've been using them for years; however, the rack itself is so attractive, that it indeed adds to the decor of my kitchen. I'm surprised by its sturdiness, and after having looked around, I don't believe you could beat the price anywhere. I would and have already recommended it.
Pan/pot rack keep pots/pans within easy access
I got tired of digging through my pot/pan stack under the counter and looked around for a convienient alternative. Found this double shelf wall rack. It came in and it took a matter of minutes to assemble.
Make sure you have plenty of patience!
The product has been on our wall for about two weeks now. Looks good, holding up, and all the pots/pans we want on it fit. We like it, but would never get this model again.
waiting for it to fall
I was so excited to buy this with my wedding shower gift cards. I was bummed at how much I had to pay for it when it is [$] cheaper at a competing store. Regardless, I really wanted this. My fiance and I hung it today and boy was it a headache. The design is difficult to work with. There is really no space to get the screw driver and drill in when hanging. Finally, when we got it hung on the wall the top tier is pulling out about a quarter inch from the wall. We used the anchors and super long screws that the item came with, and for some reason the screw is pulling out causing the rack to tilt forward. We hung our pots on it and have our fingers crossed that it will all stay up. It does not seem sturdy. If I had known this before, and didn't spend all that time getting it up, I would have spent another [$] to get one that might hang better. I am very disappointed.
