What helped when putting this cart together is rubbing some Vaseline petroleum jelly along the the edges where the plastic posts come in contact with the base and are inserted, as otherwise there is a lot of friction. Having two people really helped when hammering the posts in with a rubber mallet, to make sure the pieces all stayed in place. Trying to put this together by myself without my husband's help would have taken a lot longer and been more of a challenge.

I purchased this cart to put a lapidary slab saw atop. The actual package arrived in rough condition and was packed without filler. The parts were all floating around in the box.

My husband found this shelf to be of definite use in his garage.
