Complete trash

This cover is terrible quality. The cover did not let water drain through as expected. The grommets and trim pulled apart in less than 2 months. No way would this ever last 8 years. This will be returned.

Nice cover. Larger than others, making it easier to cover the pool.

Not really "rugged", tore pretty easily. Winch was defective & had to be replaced. Works best with clips which i purchased separately.

The cover was NOT glued ? together in the center of the cover ... as I unfolded it , it was in 2 pieces !!!! I don't know how to get a refund on this cover.

Good Pool Cover

So far so good. Some water stays on top but this cover does not sink like our old one. Good value and free shipping.

Dirt Defender Oval Rugged Mesh Pool Cover

Rugged, Don't think so. Worst cover I have ever bought. Started strapping the cover down and noticed there were 5 tears right above the grommets or at the grommet location itself; and 3 small tears in the cover itself. Hopefully, we have a mild winter. Lesson learned: "You get what you pay for"

Average, but functional

The product was exactly as described (length x width). The hem of the cover was frayed with several long, random plastic strips. Not a big deal; I just cut them off so they weren't hanging. The cover has been on the pool for about 3 weeks and seems to be working fine- allowing the water to filter through but keeping debris on top. We will see how it is after the winter season. The warranty isn't that special, its prorated for the number of years and is not valid if you don't secure the cover exactly as they direct. So, it just covers the pool. It seems to be doing that job okay so far!

Three grommets came out when covering the pool and small tears occurred in other areas when adjusting the cover before securing it.

great pool cover floats right on the water

I needed a new pool cover my old one was 10 and coming apart, so i did some web shoppng and found this cover on Wal mart site the price was great and the deliver and pick up at the store was sooner than I expected cover only weighed 22 lbs was so light that Iput this cover on by my self my pool is 18x 34 and 52 inches deep this cover floated on top the water and slid right across the top I had this cover out of the box on the pool and cinched down with the enclosed cable and binder in under 40 minutes great cover since my install we have had 4 inches of rain and it has all gone thru the cover just as advertised again it is a great cover now I am thinking about buying the debris cover for next spring to keep my neighbors leaves out of pool
