Along with my order of a Spencer antique brass floor lamp, I added the floor riser to achieve extra lamp height. Our home has cathedral ceilings and this easily transferred directional light towards the upper areas of the room and above high-backed recliners. The riser perfectly complements the floor lamp. Love it!
This item was exactly what I was hoping it would be. Base was the perfect diameter and height. We moved into a condo that has 11-1/2 ft ceiling, this raised the Stiffel floor lamp enough that it no longer appears to be lost in the room.
